I quickly realized that I wasn't the guest of honor at the dinner table as after she let me go she stood between me and her paramour. She was shielding me from him as they screeched back and forth between them. Looking around at my surroundings I noticed quite a few bodies lying around and then it became clear why I was here. Following instincts they should only hunt for survival but some these victims were definitely killed for sake of cruelty. The way they died was long dragged out needlessly going by a comparison between postmortem and what was sustained prior to death.

Normally I wouldn't have been able to distinguish between them but thanks to my Ripper Doc skills it became clearer. I could see the difference between victims the female didn't always end her victims cleanly but she didn't go out of her way to extend suffering. She even tended to pile them away from their resting area or at least her resting area.

The male on the other hand had darker tendencies he liked clawing and feeding on areas that caused a lot pain without immediate death. In fact some of his victims weren't even fed from just tortured. It seemed that he retained a bit of knowledge about biology to drag out it's torture sessions. He also had a curious obsession of collecting trophies from his victims. The top right canine tooth likely collected from his victims while they were still alive.

I don't know why he developed these peculiarities as I didn't remember him having them in the comics or show. There could be some sort of external factor that I was currently unaware about that brought on the behavior. It also seems that the female has retained part of her original self not particularly her humanity but her mind. It seemed like she was concerned about what I am assuming is her husband. Looking into her mind it appears that her goal is not to return to humanity but to remove the dark influence she believes that is infecting him.

She doesn't know why but she sense something within me that could help. I assume that it not the Force or she would have done it herself and I don't think that she is even aware of my psychic abilities so my best guess is the light inside of me. It seems that she might have been been able to perceive it on an instinctive level being closer to a beast.

I was supposed to keep an eye on Julian Black with Cassandra but all it seemed like he was up to was taking his girls out shopping. Part of me wanted to be there instead of lurking in the shadows not to be there with him but out shopping for outfits. He didn't seem to care what they wanted and just bought whatever interested them without looking at the prices. It was one of the things I envy most about the mega wealthy.

I don't know why we are following the guy around he hasn't really done anything crazy except flash his cash in Gotham. I couldn't understand why Bruce was so fixated on him ever since he came back from space he seemed different. I let it go as apparently Damian was arrested for something so I thought that is why he was distracted. I tried to ask Bruce but he wouldn't say anything but it seems like Dick knew and yet he was keeping me out of the loop. One thing is clear though it must have something to do with Julian Black.

The shopping trip seemed to go on forever and I was getting bored. Cassandra seemed fine but she was always hyper focused on whatever mission no matter what. Just as I getting ready to call it quits he just "coincidentally" met with Norman Osborn. The guy was very shady as they come even Bruce didn't trust after meeting him the first time. He was usually New York's problem as he rarely came to Gotham. He has been arrested multiple times but he somehow managed to slip through the cracks every time. Yet now Norman Osborn is having a friendly chat with Julian Black as if they were friendly with each other.

Shortly after Norman Osborn left he split up from his group only disappear or at least he did to me because Cassandra immediately started chasing something. I knew something was wrong and called it in Bruce was unavailable due to dealing with legal issues regarding Damian but Nightwing was on his way while Bluebird would be on overwatch in the Bat cave.
