Fury: How the fuck did they get past our security!?

I wasn't surprised when Fury was pissed off about finding three individuals that he did not know standing in front of him. Natasha seemed nonplussed as well and apparently, my fake girlfriend didn't enjoy the idea of me expanding my female company. As for Tony this time he was openly ogling the women in the room but was somewhat cautious.

"To be absolutely blunt I saw that these two were wasting their potential I sought to recruit them. They were somehow offended by my stating about the inadequacy of the thieves, spies, and assassins of this earth. They recommended prayer for my answers to remedy the situation and the Emperor of mankind answered"

Natasha: Somehow I doubt that is exactly what happened...

Fury: People pray all the time and we don't get reports of people appearing out of thin air!

Black Cat: He also didn't mention the cost at all!

Everyone's eyes focused on me as Fury's intense glare bore into me.

Fury: What cost is she talking about?

"It's nothing important it's already been paid"

Catwoman: Tell them or we will

Tony: Normally a woman in a tight outfit giving orders would be exciting but judging by how upset she is I think this is more than just a payment plan

Black Cat: This isn't funny asshole this is serious

Natasha: Julian these are two women you barely know and even they seemed concerned. What was the price to get these ladies here?

"You all know how I am a faithful servant to the God Emperor of mankind? I told you Natasha that I could still feel my connection to him even from here. What I didn't explain is how that connection has been weakening day by day not because of a lack of faith but due to the fact that he is not in this dimension. So when these ladies inspired me I burned away my connection with the Emperor to help humanity here"

Natasha: What does that mean exactly (worry creeping into her tone)

"What it means is that when I die I won't be able to rejoin my Emperor's side there is no heaven for me"

The weight of my words stills the room. It is one thing to speculate about the afterlife it is another to have proof right before your eyes. It was also more shocking to find someone who would give up his eternity for others.

Tony: Julian if this is a joke it's the worst one I've ever heard! Why would you do that?!

"I'm sorry Tony it's not a joke. As for why it's because I have seen the absolute worst-case scenario. If humanity isn't prepared in my dimension worlds are devoured by the undead, worlds burned by war with literal oceans of blood and far worse the universe can be far crueler than you can imagine." My eyes became unfocused and lost looking into the distance

Not far away from the mansion of the servant of the God Emperor of mankind Batman and the Bat family had set up a surveillance area to monitor Julian Black. They have tried many times to hack into his computer systems only to be bounced out every attempt. Fortunately this time they didn't need to hack into it as Shield arrived with the Avengers a rival organization to the Justice League funded by a collective of world governments but mostly controlled by the United States. They aren't real heroes they're government lapdogs willing to kill. For the most part, we just avoid each other but now they brought an unknown variable to Gotham.

listening to their conversation Through a Hacked Shield communication system we learned two important things. The first is that there are spies in Shield that work for someone else as there are hidden back-doors in Shield's systems. The second was that the supposedly indomitable new hero was preparing for war against the galaxy. If he was right we don't have much time.
