Chapter 123 - Key

The sound of the pieces of handcuff falling to the floor echoes throughout the dungeon, filling the space with a surprising echo. 

Yulia's eyes widen, surprised and fascinated at the same time. She looks at the destroyed handcuffs and then back at Kaito, but this time with questioning eyes and an expression of someone struggling to understand what has happened.

"How... how did you do that?" Yulia whispers with her eyes fixed on Kaito's hands, as if he possessed some kind of magical power that she has never seen, after all, she didn't even notice when he destroyed those handcuffs.

Kaito smiles with a touch of pride in himself. "Let's just say they underestimated me and didn't use a handcuff like yours." He smiles and, still sitting on the floor, props himself up with his hands to lean back. "Urgh... My back hurts a bit, the trip was longer than I expected."
