Chapter 79 - Chimera

After a few hours of exploration, several monsters defeated, and much bloodshed, Kaito finds himself at the entrance to a wide chamber, whose brick walls rise up meters and more meters high.

The flames of the torch that Kaito carries where softly crackling, and he, who is in tatters from his last few fights against more than a dozen Silk Bulb Spiders, knows he is closer to his goal, the Celestial Key to Crimson Castle, because he no longer recognizes anything around him. At last, he is at a point in the underground he has never explored.

Kaito takes a deep breath and firmly grips the handle of his sword, which already has a slightly worn blade.

He then takes the first step into the chamber, though he can't see what's at the other end of it because everything is so dark.
