Buying demon cores

As they were talking, a group of Men came from different directions carrying loads of demon cores loaded in a carriage heading to the warehouse.

They were in groups and one group have a different dress code.

"Halt, who are you and what are you doing here? Don't you know that this place is the Ming family property?" Manager Zhi asked as he release a strong powerful aura that pressure them his men also gets into an attacking posture.

Within 30 minutes, the warehouse is fully loaded with demon cores.

"Sorry for this, but what do you want to use all these demon cores for? You surely know of its corrosive nature" Manager Zhi said.

"I know that, and that's why I want I,t" Meng Xiao said.

"Your business is done, you can leave," Meng Xiao said again as they leave.

As soon as no one is in sight, Meng Xiao enters the warehouse and closes the door.

This left the hiding Manager Zhi shocked.

He was only present to leave so that he will figure out what she wanted to do with that large amount of demon cores and seeing her enter he was speechless.

"Even with my high cultivation level, I am not sure I can survive inside for 10 minutes," Manager Zhi thought inwardly.

As Meng Xiao enters the warehouse, a black smoke with an offensive odour rush to her, but before it can get to her, a pure holy golden light erupts from her body which purifies the evil energy.

"Be quick" Zeus said.

"Okay," Meng Xiao said as she tap her spatial necklace and a golden light with an independent space came out and devour the demon core like a beast with a bottomless stomach.

After some time, all the demon cores have been stored in her spatial necklace and she quickly left for the Meng compound.

Meng Xiao felt satisfied with the completion of the demon core trade and she happily went home.

As she reach her room, she quickly close the four to her room and brought a hand full of demon cores from her spatial necklace and laid it carefully on the floor waiting for Zeus.

"You can start now" Meng Xiao said waiting for the magic to happen.

"You are my vessel, I need you to transfer the energy to me," Zeus said.

"I now see you want me dead, how do you expect me to handle so much energy? Just 2 beast cores and I almost died from pains and now there are over 30,000 demon cores not to mention the evil aura around them" Meng Xiao said.

"You won't feel any pain, I will handle everything," Zeus said.

"Then what should I do?" Meng Xiao asked.

"Absorb the energy into your body and I will take it from there," Zeus said.

"Okay," Meng Xiao said as she got into the jade lotus position, sitting cross-legged with eyes closed and her hands holding the beast core.

A black light erupt from the demon core but it was quickly profiled by a golden holy light that came out of Meng Xiao's hands.

Soon, the energy turns into a streak of light which flows into her sacred mark before it was absorbed by Zeus.

In just a single night, Zeus absorb all the demon cores and what we left was a pile of ashes which Meng Xiao stored for later disposal and cleaning of traces.

*****In the Ming auction house*****

Manager Zhi felt like he was on his judgement day, standing before the gate of hell and the devil sitting with his legs cross and his sharp eyes looking at him.

"Where were you?" Ming Xia said with a voice that sound like the voice of a devil to him.

"I was.... I was attending to your valuable customer" Manager Zhi stutter as his body tremble.

"My customer? Who is that?" Ming Xia asked.

"She brought out your purple hexagon-shaped badge. And the unique imprint shows that it's not fake" Manager Zhi said facing down.

"Oh, our little customer," Ming Xia said with his lips curved up and his interest piqued.

"lit....little customer?" Manager Shi asked.

"She is the only person I gave a hexagon badge, what did she buy?" Ming Xia asked.

"She is a bit strange," Manager Zhi said.

"Strange as how what did she buy," Ming Xia asked again.

"She bought thousands of demon cores and mid-grade spiritual power cultivation resources" Manager Zhi quickly said.
