It was after a long silence when he realized what he said. He hurriedly turned around to look at Olivia whose expressions were blank, void of any emotions.
The past made Arabella like this and she was responsible for it. Even if not completely, partially she is involved. She was surely at fault. She knew it, even Aiden knew it. But he didn't want to point it out loudly and rub on her face. It came out of his mouth unintentionally and he is guilty for it.
"Where are you going?" He asked desperately with guilt dripping from his eyes when he saw her getting up from the couch and packing her handbag with her things.
"Home." She answered curtly while putting her phone inside her purse.
"Why?" He asked while approaching her. He took her hands and made her turn toward him.
"What do you mean by why?" She asked while looking into his eyes, still not giving off any expressions.
