Accepting his death

Elliana blinked her eyes at the body in front of her.

It was almost as if there was no skin left on Sebastian's body. His entire body was covered in blood, his face distorted to the point it was even harder to make up his face and another whimper left Elliana's mouth.

Her husband's handsome face... What did they do to him?

"Mr. Marino, hey, I know I once told you that you were a terrible actor but it didn't mean you had to show your acting skills to me like this. It's done. Everyone has stopped fighting. Wake up," Elliana shuffled close to him and placed his head on her lap.

She held the hand that was holding the pendant she had once gifted him along with her photo.

A teary smile appeared on her face.
