"Hehe," Elliana chuckled.
Prince Angelo froze in his place for a few seconds.
"Has what I done amused you, my dear?" Prince Angelo tried to gain the upper hand in the situation, and Elliana chuckled again, this time a little louder than before.
She left the cottage so she wouldn't have to talk in front of her parents.
Nathaniel followed her closely, maintaining enough distance from her to not trigger her.
"Of course not, Prince Angelo. I am just amazed that you have a witch by your side, but he or she didn't warn you about me," Elliana said, and Prince Angelo turned to him to look at the witch, who shook her head to tell him that she didn't know what Elliana was talking about.
Prince Angelo nodded at the witch. He wanted to say he believed her, but for some reason, the way Elliana talked didn't settle well with her.
