Elliana was absent from the class today, and the few people who cared about her quite a lot these days were irked by her absence.

"Do you not know where she is?" Daniel looked at Dexter.

"Why do you think I would know if the others don't?" Dexter quirked his brows, already annoyed by the fact that she wasn't here, and now Daniel was adding salt to it.

"It's just you have a massive crush on her and -"

"Just like you are head over heels for her?" Dexter snapped, and Alcinder placed his hand on Daniel's shoulder to tell him to stop and not mention it.

Daniel scowled, not liking Dexter's sarcastic answer.
