While the men were still going around trying to find any clues that the guards might have missed, Elliana sat with the women and sipped her tea, looking at everything unfolding in front of her.
"Elliana, you seem a bit worried. Is everything okay?" Freya placed her hand on the human's knees, and the girl shook her head before smiling.
"I am fine, mom. I am just worried about everything that is going on here. Grandpa said this is the first time something like this happened in the palace," Elliana said. Freya understood the human girl was worried, and she sighed.
"You don't need to be scared of anything, dear. No one will harm you," Freya smiled at her, and Elliana smiled at the irony of the sentence.
Of course, how can anyone harm her?
