"You mean to say you danced with him because you were afraid?" Alcinder probed more.

"No. Because I was startled, this was the first time I attended a party in my life. I didn't know things like these happen. I thought Daniel would be the only one to dance with me because he is my partner," Elliana was visibly confused about everything, and Alcinder sighed.

Maybe he read too much into things about her once again. This dumb girl doesn't even know the basics about parties. 

Though he would agree that the man was indeed dangerous, any human is bound to feel pressured when met with such force. Even he, as a strong vampire, knew not to step ahead and mess up what that vampire was doing.

There was no doubt that he would've stepped ahead if that mysterious vampire would've tried to hurt Elliana, but the man was quite gentle for the kind of aura he was executing.
