A Bit Dumbfounded

Two level-three and four insectoids were defeated in an instant, and the scene fell into silence, as if time had come to a standstill.

Inside the beat-up spaceship, everyone stared out at a familiar red and green mecha. They couldn't believe what they were seeing, rubbing their eyes to make sure.

"That mecha looks familiar..."

"It's identical to Yuri's mecha."

"It must be a copy. Yuri should be in class at this time."

"But what if...?"

Were they saved by Yuri, this would be a story to tell for a lifetime.

"Hello, everyone. I'm a patrol officer. The insectoids are defeated. What's your condition? Any injuries? Do you need any other help?"

Yuri's clear voice echoed in the spaceship and mecha.

The next second, cheers of pure elation erupted from the insectoid hunter squad.

Yuri: ".... Looks like everyone's alive."

The cheering continued for more than a minute before it gradually quieted down.
