DETONATOR

When Adrian noticed that Erika's eyes were about to close, he revealed a triumphant smirk under his mask. Erika's body went limp and he quickly lifted her in his arms.

Outside, Ethan looked around but couldn't spot Erika's shadow anywhere.

"Where's Erika?" he questioned Felix.

Felix also checked around and said, "I did recall my mother asking her to retrieve the flowers. That was quite a while ago."

With his brows furrowed into a frown, Ethan excused himself to go look for Erika.

He started by searching for her in her room but he couldn't find her anywhere. He checked the kitchen where his mother, Mrs Anderson was, instructing the waiters on what to serve first and second.

"Mom, did you see Erika pass by here?" he asked her.

The elder woman went into some thought, trying to recall if she had seen Erika before she shook her head, "No, why?"

"I can't find her anywhere," he replied with a worried filled tone.
