Jasmine brought back her hand that was frozen in the air. She had been really angry when Ethan threw her out of his house on that rainy day. She had called and called but he never picked as always, so she thought of coming to see him personally but got insulted by his secretary instead.

The make up on her face had darkened because of her anger but Peter didn't care at all. He hated Jasmine just like everyone one else because she was a desperate woman who keeps getting rejected but would still come back. She really didn't know when to stop.

"Please leave. As you can see, I was busy with something when you barged in and I am still busy right now so I can't entertain your lunatics anymore", he spat out and faced the computer screen.

Jasmine fisted her hand so tightly that her knuckles turned white. "Don't your forget that you are just a secretary..."

"....but you can't fire me." Peter completed the sentence.
