trail of Slytherin

Alex and Delphini went into the statue which is still opened and they saw a huge vault door on the other end, Alex told Delphini it's the inheritance of her family, he took out the locket and inserted into the slot that looked like the shape of locket beside it.

the doors opened and a voice sounded," hello, there my descendants, it's been 50 years since you visited but failed the trail how are you? ". Alex laughed at voldemort when he heard he failed the trail.

soon, he stepped and said," Salazar Slytherin, I'm here to take your trail to inherit your legacy", delphini however is standing in front of the door and don't get in as she told she isn't interested in this dangerous things, she even wondered why her family is like this? first her father killing someone infront her and used a evil magic that suffocated her soul until Alex solved it, then her mother who tortured her everyday in past few years and her ancestor who created that terrifying snake and designed this eerie chamber, she sighed at this looked at Alex who is in a daze, he told her about Slytherin trail being in an illusion. she wondered if will succeed in this trail.

in the illusion Alex is looking at humanoid creature who is in a battle stance with a wand and sighed the first test is to defeat the alchemical creature created by Slytherin in the illusion, but his strength will be absorbed continuously by this or the illusion make it look like that to decrease the morale of challenger.

Alex sighed and applied an armour charm ,the battle began and the creature fired barrage of spells which are bounced back to it although it's hit by the spells, the creature looks fine , Alex know this test is about his strength in battle.

he gathered his magic and fired an explosion chain at full power, the creature is smashed by the explosions although one of it's arms is missing now, it stood and fired spells again, Alex through needle rush and air blades at it and successfully pierced it's core in the illusion battle.

then a voice sounded," good, you passed the first one, now move on to the next trail, it's about your magic and also a bit of cunning nature".

as the voice said, this trail is also to test his magic power along with a attack from all directions which is cunning and deadly, he has to figure out the culprit in the darkness and stop him. this is the stage where voldemort failed.

alex saw many spells flying towards him from all directions, but he is unfazed as the test has simple solution that is use Lumos maxima like flash bomb and a shadow will appear when the spell is fired, all he has to do is to knock that out.

Alex did the flash bang spell and the knocked out the shadow, a voice sounded," boy, what are you?, how do you came up with a solution that even I ,Salazar Slytherin didn't think of".

then he said next stage this is a written test about alchemy as Slytherin is proficient in alchemy and dark arts.

Slytherin will gave you a wooden piece with runes and nodes and many flaws in it. all you have to do is to solve the flaws and they wil pass the test, but here is the probelm since the runes in the piece will contradict each other, so the solution to this is imprint a coordination array in the wooden piece and let magic flow through it.

Alex did it with his conjuring runes ability and the voice sounded," you passed another trail, now for finale , battle with me, don't worry I won't use dark arts, but the power is same as in my prime and you have withstand my attacks for 3 minutes to win".

Alex scoffed at this and activated the superior shield charm with a turtle shell pattern and the projection fired spells at Alex, the shield charm has ripples , this made Alex intrigued by the wizards power 1000 years ago, the shield charm which is unfazed by many dark wizards and opponents is now trembling just by simple spells from Salazar, this explains how much they are powerful.

soon, many spells fired and sometimes cracks appeared on the shield and Alex repaired it with magic. 3 minutes after that Alex is standing jn the cracked turtle shell shaped shield there are no injuries on him.

the projection of Salazar Slytherin became dimmed and Alex came out of the illusion, suddenly a man appeared in the chamber he looks like the statue face in the chamber entrance, Alex immediately recognised him as Salazar Slytherin, but he couldn't detect heart beat from him, he immediately guessed that it's an alchemical creature built by Slytherin for inheritance, then Salazar Slytherin in front of him said," well done heir, you're the first one to wake me up in a 1000 years after Slytherin activated me in here, he told me about the inheritance and also about the snake outside looks like you took, careful that guy is pretty rowdy, he may wreak havoc if left alone".

Delphini who is outside until now also arrived and stared at Salazar Slytherin then asked Alex," did you get it?", Alex nodded and then Salazar said," young man, Salazar Slytherin built this for the research of his dark arts at first but then he changed this into alchemical research along with wand making techniques, he combined snakewood and the basilisk horn to produce a wand that is far more powerful than normal ones also it has the wand conscious on its own and can listen to the commands in parseltongue".

then he continued," now his legacy belongs to you, and also I'm made to assist you here, although I'm not as knowledgable as Salazar, he imparted a part of his knowledge into me, I even know all his wand making techniques, potions but his alchemy research is not imparted into me completely, these books in the chamber are all his life's work, you can take them and study , also this chamber has many security arrays that will moniter anyone that enters this chamber, this is the ring that will give you the authority of Slytherin in this castle take it and drop your blood to bind it to you, if you gather other rings of founders, they will even fuse together, try it".

Alex took the ring and drop his blood by a small cut and the ring glowed green light for a second and dimmed down, the ring then merged with Rowena's and the stone becomes bluish green and he also felt magic in his body racing and purifying itself.
