"Being a witch is my talent. No need to sound so condescending about it," Heaven returned, her tone and aura giving off determination. "This should've happened a long time ago. Matter of fact, the marriage shouldn't have happened in the first place. I'm sure we can agree on that."
Dominic slowly lifted his gaze on her, assessing the assertive look plastered on her face. Heaven already healed up from her injuries and from what he heard, she could get discharged and continue her recovery at home. Despite the assassination attempt she faced not long ago, he was surprised she wasn't hiding in the sheet. Instead, she looked determined.
