Jack held his fellow vampire by his throat and slammed him to the ground. Sitting on top of him, he kept raining punches on the vampire. He didn't care if the poor guy was bleeding from the lips.

Jack's POV

For months, I have been training with Luke and Anetia alone. After Anetia was sure I could stand on my own, I was taken to the main fighting area. There I met several other vampires with skills than mine.

I realized Luke was being lenient with me, I had to push myself, day and night. The world was harsher than I imagined, it's only a pity I found out later in life but hope wasn't lost.

When he began training with the other, I discovered that the battle had nothing to do with me at least directly. I later found out that Anetia was Renard's master. Who would have thought Anetia was Renard's master? I never expected that or maybe I just didn't want to believe it.
