I should have never opened my eyes, I was not supposed to be alive, why was I given a chance again? I do appreciate the 7 people I met through this "chance" but they met me only to be in danger. No one deserves to suffer for me. My name is Yoonah, I was born again in the same body but in a completely different world with immense power, powers I thought were only in novels and myths, the power that could either destroy or save this world.

Chapter 1EPISODE 1: NEW WORLD

Asteriaxx: Please read, the main characters in this story except the female lead are based on ENHYPEN members. Any clash on names with other idols or celebrities except ENHYPEN members are purely coincidental and are by no means to link them together. This is a fanfiction/fantasy book, created for entertainment purposes only. Let's be kind and constructive~

Yoonah's P.O.V.

I could hear murmurs, there were several people in the same room as me, all were talking in a hush, and it felt as though they were talking about me. I tried opening my eyes but failed. I tried moving my hands and failed too.

"I think she's waking up!" Someone shouted and I could feel them touching my face. Why can't I move?

"Call the healer!" The room broke into a frenzy, some were rushing, and others were ushering people out saying it was too crowded. Which I actually appreciated because those murmurs were getting suffocating.

But wait... Healers? Do they mean doctors?

The room suddenly quieted down and someone placed a palm on my forehead. I felt a tingling sensation throughout my body as they touched me.

"Hmm... she regained consciousness but her body is still far too weak to gain its motor strength, but with plenty of rest and constant treatment, young miss will be up and about in no time," A man's voice said from above me. His voice was calm but it held authority.

"Oh.. thank the Goddess!" A woman's voice cheers. Goddess? pffttt don't tell me I'm in that weird part of Seoul again.

"But, I must add, her soul is no longer the same, the original owner of this body is gone, she's rested with the Goddess now. But this soul inside your daughter's body is similar to your daughter's but is completely a foreigner to our world." This man is spitting up some serious BS. Oh my God... was I possessed by some shaman?! It can't be, I never get in touch with those things.

Sniffles and soft sobs filled the room. I didn't understand what was going on. They called me their daughter, but I was an orphan. I was just an orphan who was trying her best at high school, dreaming of becoming a teacher one day. I was happy despite not having a family. I believed that the only thing that could put me down was myself and I never intended on doing that.

"My poor Yoonah..." The same woman who called me her daughter cried out, I felt soft hands cupping my face and giving a lingering kiss on my forehead. It's either that I'm dreaming or these people are completely delusional.

"I'll come to check again. Meanwhile, please continue with the care you have been giving." The doctor or healer, as they called him said and I assumed he had walked out. I felt a ringing in my ears and my eyes hurt, consumed by tiredness, I blacked out.

The next time I woke up was by the light shining on my face. I covered my eyes with my hands and supported myself up. Delighted that I can move, I stretched around a bit. Finally adjusting to the light, I looked around and met with a confused pair of eyes.

A guy who looked around my age was sitting across the room with a book in his hands, he looked like he was about to cry. Do I look that ugly? I know I had just woken up but this ain't nice.

"Um.. Hi?" I regret speaking immediately as I coughed uncontrollably due to my dry throat. The guy quickly got up and pour me a glass of water and handed it to me.

"Thanks," I said and gave him the cup back, he suddenly pulled me into a hug as he reached for the cup.

"Uhm... excuse me?" I pushed him lightly, who knows, this guy could be psychotic.

"Sorry sorry, it's just that it feels so surreal seeing you opening your eyes and talking," His eyes shone as he spoke, he was quite handsome, I must admit.

"But I don't know who you are," I could see hurt flash across his eyes, but only for a second.

"Right, I forgot. But you know your name, right? Your age?"

I nodded, "Yoonah Park, age 18," He nodded approvingly.

"It's out of this world, a different soul but with the same person? It's amazi-" He stopped as he noticed my confused face.

"Sorry, I tend to blabber, let me call someone to check you up, wait here," With that he got up and left the room.

From the previous night, I thought I would be in a hospital room, but I was actually in a bedroom. The room gave off a major princess and it was very spacious, but also very minimalistic. Two big bookshelves, a large cabinet probably for clothes, and a study table. Simple, but I liked it.

But, would there be something like this in Korea? I cannot afford a room like this and I don't see any hotels built like this either. And that guy, he said the same thing I heard that night? Sh*t am I really possessed?!

The door swung open making me startled. A woman who looked to be in her early 40s ran in, but as I took a good look at her, I recognized the face.

"Mom?" How could it be? My mom who passed away when she gave birth to me was right in front of me.

"Yes, my baby, it's Mom," She sat down on the bed and pulled me for a hug. My heart swelled from pain thinking this was all a dream. Never in my eighteen years of life did my Mom visit me in my dreams. This was the best dream.

I quickly wrapped my arms around her thin body and cried, "I missed you so much, Mom. Why did you never come before?" My voice came out weakly.

My mom pulled away and cupped my face, "My baby, I never left your side, I was with you day and night." She said as she wiped away my tears. I touched her face, her hair, her hands, they all felt so real, too real to be a dream.

"Your father couldn't be here because of the meeting at the palace, but he will be delighted as much as I am when he hears of your news," She said and stroked my hair dearly, to which I leaned greedily.

"Oh! I almost forgot the healer asks to let you test your motor skills as soon as you wake up. Come on honey, try standing up," Mom said as she stood up. I complied with everything she said, trying to remember everything clearly.

But when I tried standing, I fell down, hard. I winced as pain shot up my back. WAIT. It hurts!

"Is this not a dream?" I asked Mom, she just laughed heartily and said, "Of course not dear! It's too good to be a dream. We waited for you to wake up for almost 6 months!"

Before I could speak, the guy from before came inside the room, "Sunghoon dear, help your sister up, will you?" Mom called. Sister?

Sunghoon rushed to my side and lifted me up gently.

"Wait, I'm your sister?" If this is not a dream, what in the world was going on? I noticed Sunghoon and Mom sharing a look, while I kept looking at them for answers.

"Okay... let her sit down first, we need to explain something." Sunghoon set me down on the bed cause I can't use my body for sh*t right now.

"Where do I start? Hm... You are currently in Riverfield. It is a place for all kinds of creatures to live and a very safe space. Your soul came from another world and settled inside my daughter's body when hers left. You must be really confused because we must look exactly like the family you had before. My daughter died in a battle with someone with dark magic but was given a chance when you got inside her body. Our world is filled with magic and amazing creatures. They can't be explained with only words, so when you are ready your brother will show you around."

I stayed silent for a solid minute before clapping my hands and looking around, "Nice story you have, now where're the cameras?" I said and looked around. Do people think I can be fooled around just like that?

"No, Yoonah, you gotta listen, this is not the same as the world you came from," I remained still as my mother held my hands. Her face and her voice, all seemed too real to be a prank.

"Really?" I asked, my voice laced with doubt. My mother nodded while Sunghoon placed his hand on my shoulder in a reassuring way.

"I can see you still don't believe it. Dear, show her from the balcony," Mom signaled Sunghoon and I was lifted up from the bed. Sunghoon carried me and went outside the balcony. And what I saw.... blew my f**king mind.
