I tried not to think about the fact that mine and Kian's child was sitting right there in his womb, but it was getting hard not to. There were things I wanted to say to him, I wanted to take away all the pain he went through before meeting me. But I couldn't, and that was what drove me into a fit of anger.

"Davien."

"Yes?"

"If I were to die tomorrow, what would you do?" He asked, making me wonder if he got a knack out of torturing me.

"You're not going to die."

"Not tomorrow, but in the near future I will." He retorted, bringing up the one topic I wanted to put off for tonight.

I kissed his forehead, "You're not going to die."
