In the Hong Kong version of Infernal Affairs, one of the biggest problems is that the rhythm control is slightly weak. This approach makes the movie seem less uniform. Compared with the American version, this is a big flaw.

Not through gunfights, violence, or heroism to highlight the characters but to portray the struggle between the police and the gang through a battle of wits. This approach is unique.

This episode made Eric even more excited: after the dialogue between the two protagonists at the beginning of the movie, this episode is the real drama. After this period, the confrontation between the two sides has officially become clear.

After watching enough gangster movies, one can know that it is impossible for them to resolve it gently. Now, the two heroes are bound to fight; only one side can win.

This time, the conflict between the two intensified. The confrontation between the two bosses is over, and the plot is moving forward.

Billy brought his friends from the police station to work on his new home, and it was at this time his fiancée finally appeared in the camera. The character played by Aniston still has the temper of a vase, but it can make people feel Billy's warm life at once.

The atmosphere of the movie, from the present tense situation, suddenly became warm and calm.

And at this moment, the phone rang.

With one arm around his beautiful fiancée and the other hand on the phone with the boss of the gangster. This state of Billy makes people feel slightly ironic. And on the screen in the movie, a pretty landscape pattern is played - this seems to imply that the happy life of the gangsters is just a false beauty.

He took a few words and quickly finished explaining, but Billy, who left, didn't realize he had been followed by the thoughtful Colin behind him.

On the street, two people followed one after the other. The surging crowd made Colin almost lose track of the people before him a few times, but he followed, relying on his sharpness.

And in the blink of an eye, just as they were about to grab each other, the phone rang suddenly, alerting them to something.

They both want to know who the other is and hope to get news about each other without revealing their own. And the ringing of the phone let both of them know the existence of the other, and neither of them would risk exposing themselves again.

This is a rather unsolvable deadlock - they all want to know the other party's identity but are unwilling to reveal their own identities. This kind of struggle is something they cannot get rid of.

Colin reluctantly left. And the moment he left, through the hanging wind chime, he saw the reflection - in the reflection, the man in the hat and windbreaker couldn't tell whether it was him or another undercover agent.
