With a jolt, Louis pushed Ginevra three meters away.
Ginevra, in her high heels, nearly fell over. She steadied herself on a nearby bookcase.
Clutching her chest, she gasped for breath.
Louis quickly explained to Alicia, "It's not what you think. I was just pulling my arm away."
Ginevra also defended herself, "Please don't misunderstand. I accidentally used Mr. Martinez's cup and was just about to wash it."
Alicia gazed at her coldly, not uttering a word.
She knew what Louis was like, but Ginevra was a different matter.
Ginevra was cunning, showing one face to the world and another behind the scenes. Two-faced and sneaky. Even though she might not hurt others, she can still annoy them.
Alicia pulled out a spray bottle filled with alcohol from her bag, walked over to Louis, and sprayed it several times on his shirt sleeve. "You're a clean freak," she laughed. "You need to disinfect after touching dirty things."
