Emilia X Jay

"Jay, as in Jay Woods?" Maya clarified.

Jay was a common enough name that Emilia could mean another person, then again, Emilia didn't exactly interact with a lot of other people in Arlington. 

Could they have an employee named Jay? A member of the Mafia named Jay?

And as for Max, Nathaniel had mentioned that Max's family had approached his for an arranged marriage between Emilia and him, and while the two families had already agreed, the engagement could easily be canceled. 

The De La Rues were not in the business of forcing marriages on their children, while it was hoped that they would marry someone beneficial to the family business, their hearts were what were important.

"Yeah," Emilia confessed, blushing as she looked down at her feet. 

Maya knew Jay, they had been friends for years and even dated for a while.
