Was she human?

She neither flinched, smiled or held back when she made this threat. She exuded a cold air instead and her eyes became intense with this sudden lack of identifiable emotions. It was if Chi Lian was gone and somebody else had taken her place.

"How dare you threaten the princess?" The attendant screamed at Chi Lian. "Guards, get in here and put this bitch on her knees." She shouted.

The princess stood still with a smile, probably anticipating the scene of Chi Lian being taught a lesson.
