The Thing that United Them

"You're strong, monster. But, we're stronger." Gabriella wiped the blood from the corner of her lips as she stepped on the newly defeated immortal beast.

She and her nine juniors could only take down one in the last half hour despite all their efforts. Even with their otherwordly power and divine-tier weapons, the physical prowess limitation hit them hard. They could use magic to get around the damage reduction, but the damage they received would be multiplied and it was very challenging to win without taking any damage.

"Ugh, this kind of training is what we need, but I can't help but compare ourselves to the others..." Michael panted as he lay on the ground.

In the last hour, they had hunted at least three low-rank and one mid-rank immortal beasts. The last one took a lot of time and drained their energies. Compared to them, the other team achieved better results with more prey.
