What is this Human Saying?

Under the farewell of the group, Homura, Haru, and Ayano left Otonokizaka High School.

Outside Minamiya Residence.

"Ayano, won't you stay for a meal?" Homura invited.

"No, I have something to do." Ayano waved her hand. "By the way, this time make sure to send me the manga manuscript, don't forget like last time!"

Looking at her teasing expression, Homura's mouth twitched. "There's no hurry this time, right? The first chapter won't be released until the week after next!"

Ayano: "..."

'What you said makes sense! How can I refute it...' Ayano remarked internally.

"Don't worry, I'll remember to send it to you later." Homura smiled as he watched Ayano leave in her car.

After Ayano left, Homura's attention was distracted and he noticed something different.

"There are new residents in the old house across the street?" Homura looked at the moving company's truck at the old house's door, looking surprised.

In his memory, no one had lived in the old house for at least five or six years. The house had been abandoned and left to ruin for such a long time, and now new people had moved in!

"Well, they're our new neighbors. Little one, what do you think? Should we go visit them?" Homura asked, rubbing his chin.

"What do you mean?" Haru looked at him confused.

"How do I explain it to you?" Homura thought for a moment and asked, "Little one, when you were still wandering; cats should have their own territories, right?"

"Yes, I and my siblings arrived at Tora-neesan's territory at the beginning."

"Now, the opposite territory has new owners. Do you think we should go and meet them?" Homura explained in a way that Haru could understand.

"Are we going to fight for territory?" The little one's eyes lit up as he waved her paws in the air.

Homura: "..."

"I don't know how you came to this conclusion. We're not going to fight... just going to meet them, get to know them, and chat a bit."

The little one instantly lost interest. "Oh, then I'm not going."

Homura didn't know what to say. Was exercising not enough for her anymore? Did she need real combat?

Homura shook his head. "I'm not going now. Let's do it later. They're probably busy now."

"Homura-kun, why aren't you coming in?" Megumi poked her head out. "We heard a car and thought you came back. What are you doing?"

"Oh, Megumi, look." Homura pointed across the street. "It seems like we have new neighbors. I just asked the little one if she wants to go and visit them!"

Megumi's face turned dark. "Why are you asking Haru-chan about this?"

"Let's talk inside. The little one is acting funny!"

After hearing Homura's explanation, all the girls looked surprised, then smiled at Haru. Finally, they came forward and patted her.

"Haru-chan's idea may not be strange to cats..." Utaha sighed.

"Maybe?" Eriri nodded in agreement. "But Haru-chan is still so cute!"

Mashiro squatted in front of Haru, looking puzzled. "Haru, do you want to fight?"

"Mashiro, although we don't quite understand Haru-chan's thoughts, I don't think we should do that," Nanami tried to explain to Mashiro, but she couldn't make it clear.

"Maybe Haru is feeling a bit lonely," Homura guessed. "It's been a week since she saw her brother, maybe she's getting restless?"

Homura's guess gained everyone's approval. They also thought it was likely.

"I'll ask Haru." Homura went over to Haru and stroked her little head. "Little one, do you miss your brother?"

"Meow~Meow~(...I'm not sure, but I'm a little worried about him. Although he's always energetic.)"

"Okay, I understand. I'll take you to see him this afternoon!" Homura squeezed her little paw and decided on the afternoon's schedule.

"Are you guys going too?" Homura turned around and looked at the girls.

Utaha raised an eyebrow and asked, "Where are we going? To Okami-san's home?"

Homura shook his head and replied, "No way, it's not appropriate for all of us to go to her home. We're going to her pet store instead."

Sagiri was a bit nervous and asked, "Nii-san, will there be many people at the pet store?"

"Not many people, but there are quite a few pets," Homura thought for a moment and explained to Sagiri.

"Then I want to go with Nii-san," Sagiri raised her hand and volunteered first.

"I also like pets," said Eriri, second in line.

"I'll go too," said Mashiro, third.

Homura waved his hand and said, "Let's all go together! We're nearing the end of the game development anyway, so we don't need to be in such a rush anymore."

Utaha, Megumi, and Nanami, who hadn't expressed their opinions, also nodded in agreement.

"Good, we'll go after lunch!" Homura took out his phone and dialed a number. "Hello, Nana, it's Homura. Can I ask you for a favor?"

"Ah, Homura-kun, what can I do for you?" Nana's voice was always so gentle.

"Haru wants to see Hachi. Can you bring him to the pet store this afternoon?"

"Oh, I see. Haru wants to see Hacchan, huh?" She seemed to think for a moment before giving a positive response. "No problem, Yugo is at home. I'll have him bring Hacchan and Roku to the store after lunch."

"Sorry for the trouble. Also, thank you for doing this." Homura felt a bit guilty for having the siblings go through the trouble.

"Ah no, please don't be so polite, Homura-kun. After all, it's Haru-chan's wish!" She sounded a bit awkward as she continued, "Even though the sister is always concerned about her brother's situation, and yet, Hacchan has always been a bit carefree about it."

Homura couldn't help but laugh at this and could only comfort her, "Maybe Hachi is still young and doesn't think too much. After all, we only wanted to play when we were kids too right?"

"Okay, you're busy. Bye!"

Homura retrieved his phone and said to them, "Yosh, we can head there directly this afternoon."

"..."

'What's going on? Why is everyone looking at me silently?' Homura looked at them strangely.

"When did Homura-kun exchange contact information with Okami-san?" Utaha appeared as their representative.

Homura replied without hesitation, "It was when we went to buy toys for Haru. After all, Haru's younger brother was there. How could we not exchange contact information?"

Utaha, the representative, completed her mission and returned to the team.

"Come on, Megumi, Nanami, let's cook!" Homura called to the two, "After we finish eating, we'll set off!"

Utaha and Eriri stared at each other, and Eriri came to stand in front of Haru. "I never would have guessed, Haru-chan, that you, little cat, would help Homura meet such a beautiful woman. You're such a cute little cat!"

Eriri reached out and rubbed Haru's head.
