Rationality

The upcoming chapters will focus more on Eliza and Gabriel. No worries, our wonderful Dav isn't left behind but for now, we will push him aside.

He tried his best not to inhale her scent… that same scent that makes him do crazy things… things he wouldn't even think of doing with other females. 

But at the same time, his self-control was greater than his desire. The last thing he would want was for Eliza to have a bad image of him. She said she had no memory of him, this meant he had just one opportunity for a good first impression which was something he was not willing to joke with. 

Just like the gentlemen he had pictured himself to be, Gabriel averted his gaze to a random corner of the room and he took two handfuls of her shirt. In one swoop it was taken off her body, leaving her bare chest to his mercy.
