After a couple of minutes of intense battle, one final worm, larger than the others, emerged from the shadows. Its body was covered in thick, dark armor, and it moved with a speed that belied its size. Allen squared his shoulders, readying himself for the challenge. The worm lunged, its maw gaping wide, but Allen was faster. He sidestepped the attack, his sword flashing as he brought it down on the creature's neck with all his strength. The blade bit deep, severing the head from the body in a single, decisive stroke.

With the last of the monsters defeated, the corridor fell silent once more. Allen stood amidst the carnage, his sword dripping with the blood of his enemies. He took a deep breath, feeling the adrenaline slowly ebb away, replaced by a sense of calm and satisfaction.
