Run. That was given when it regarded the fail-safe. But how could she? It wouldn't be fair for her brother to be left alone on his own demise. At the very least, Lise should be there during his last moments, to at least atone for her failure. But wouldn't that just be spitting on his last request?

"What should I do..."

Did she even have the time to think things through? The world was exploding all around her, and all she could think about was if she would die by her brother's side or away from it. What a fvcking joke.

Dusting herself off, Lise blankly stared at what used to be the town hall. What was once a shining glory for this village was now a husk of its former self. Surely, her brother was dead by now; his injuries combined with the insane output he just let out finally took its toll. Looking down on the ground, the Seigels were still emitting his Wesen, their purpose still primed and ready to explode in a spectacular fashion.
