Once Again, Their Pace Matched

Liliana ignored how she daringly asked Lucas whether he wanted to play at a game arcade with her or not. It was something she hadn't done before but, she really hoped to fulfill the simple promise with him today.

"Sure! Where are you? I can go to pick you up."

Lucas easily agreed. He didn't know how delighted Liliana was to hear those words.

Liliana politely refused the offer, saying she was at a place quite far from the cafe. After being persuaded by Lucas a few times, she finally mentioned where she was right now.

"Oh, Whistling Creek? I know a good place half an hour from there. I'll get the spare helmet and meet you there."

Lucas' enthusiasm made Liliana happy but, she was a bit hesitant, afraid of inconveniencing the younger man despite her wish.

"Are you sure?" asked Liliana, her tone subdued.

"Absolutely. I'll head there now. See you soon, Boss Xin."
