Chapter 26:Watch your Back

Meanwhile with the Mr.Holmes....

The man in front of Adryan was a man with black hair along with a deep look and some wrinkles showing his age, he was wearing a black tuxedo with a windbreaker.

"So fake face how about a dance under the rain?A little bit of thursday romance what do you say?" he asked with a mocking voice.

"I'm sorry, gentleman, but I'm not interested in that offer" was the man's flat response.

"What a pity" Adryan said with false sadness as he aimed and fired.

Adryan couldn't care in the slightest about this guy's appearance after all he or rather they were faceless so the possibility that it's even a woman in disguise isn't low.

'After all if Klein acted like a woman before then what is stopping the others from doing it?' he thought and quickly pulled the trigger firing 4 quick shots.

But the faceless man had already moved, giving acrobatic jumps worthy of being in a circus, dodging the bullets and counterattacking.

As the faceless jumped, he made several shooting sounds with its mouth and Adryan had to move again to dodge the air bullets.

The roof of the building had been shattered again where the air bullets hit and Adryan who tried to re-aim was grazed by a bullet in his windbreaker.

"YOU MISSED!!" Adryan yelled as he rolled avoiding the shots coming from below.

'It seems that the priority of all the armed men and the Faceless is to get rid of me as soon as possible, surely it's so that I can't help Sasha and Nathan in their fight against the Sun Beyonder so they decided to divide and conquer?' thought the redhead as he watched as the men below shot from their covers.

A crazy smile formed under his mask and letting out a laugh, Adryan went back to dodge the bullets of the men below.

'I'm sure they think they won't have a way to defend themselves but they're about to get the surprises of their lives everything is under control so far and the authorities shouldn't take much longer to arrive,besides…' Continuing to look at the men below while keeping an eye on whatever the Faceless was doing, Adryan's smile grew.

'I now know where you all are!!!'thought and getting up after rolling, Adryan turned around for a short moment and fired 2 quick shots, managing to kill 2 men who were not taking cover.

As soon as he did that, Adryan made a Shadow Leap, managing to dodge several air bullets that hit where he was.

Coming out of the shadows, Adryan created several fire ravens that shot towards the Faceless who, waiting for the last moment, made a flaming jump, managing to dodge the ravens but this ravens weren't done because they go to attack the men in the ground making them take cover and not let them keep shooting at Adryan.

These armed man were normal humans so 1 fire raven was enough to keep them bussy,all 10 remainig men had the same problem.

The Faceless had appeared on the other side of the building but when he came out of the Flaming

Jump what he received was a Fire Spear that pierced his chest and exploded but the faceless man became extremely thin until he became a paper figurine that was burned until it become ashes.

Several meters from there, the faceless appeared again, who still had a flat face while Adryan had a smile under his mask with his lef arm extended.

"Looks like you were careless in that move mate" he said screwing over the faceless as he created more fire ravens that began to fly around him.

The faceless said nothing and took a revolver from its holster.

"It seems that now you do take me seriously, what happened before, did the blow I gave you hurt your manhood?" Adryan's provocative voice sounded in the head of the faceless man who still kept his face flat, not showing any emotional change.

On the other side of the street, in the alley where Sasha and Nathan were, several shots began to be heard and shortly after that a beam of light came down from the sky falling directly into the alley.

'It seems that they have it under control for now but I must make sure that the men below are not going to disturb them' thought Adryan seriously, then he controlled the ravens so that they flew to the Faceless.

This time he didn't do a flaming jump but instead charged at the ravens and using various acrobat moves managed to dodge all of them but he never saw how the fire ravens didn't disappear but were still in the sky, there were 5 fire ravens circling in the sky the ceiling where the Faceless and Adryan were....

The Faceless aimed the revolver and fired several shots that Adryan had to dodge. Suddenly, the Faceless made a Flaming Jump and reappeared behind Adryan who, reacting quickly, kicked the man's hand from behind, managing to deflect the revolver that was send flying.

Not giving the enemy a second to recover, still with his leg extended, Adryan also extended his left hand to the faceless and a torrent of fire shot out of it, completely enveloping the faceless, who did not expect the redhead to react to his jump.

The faceless body was completely burned but he turned into another Paper Figurine managing to dodge this attack that would have killed him again.

Appearing on the other end the faceless now frowned as he looked at the masked man in front of him who held out his left hand with an open palm and then he closed it.

His sense of danger ignited with full force and without hesitation the Faceless took a Flaming Jump as far away as possible.

Appearing in another building a few buildings away he could see how 5 flaming short swords had pierced the place where he had been before.

'How is it possible I didn't even see him create those swords' the faceless thought in alarm, but hearing a scream and looking towards the street where his men were, his eyes widened a bit more.

All his men had the same flaming swords in their bodies, the vast majority were dead because the swords pierced their chests but a few others were still alive because the swords had not hit any vital places but they would soon die due to the fact that their organs were being cooked inside their own bodies.

But suddenly he saw how the flaming swords glowed for a moment before bursting into flames completely engulfing the bodies of all the men burning to death the few alive.

'When he had time to make so many swords...'the Faceless thought in alarm but once again his sense of danger warned him and jumping to the side he had barely managed to dodge a fire arrow that had fallen where he was.

Looking back to where the masked man was, he could see how he had a fire bow in his hands and was running towards him with another arrow ready to shoot.

"Now it's just you and me Fake Face!!!" Adryan yelled as he jumped to another building and in mid air he released the bowstring and let go of the arrow.

'It doesn't matter as long as I can keep this guy busy long enough for Esteban to kill the targets then it would have been worth it' he thought as he moved to the side managing to dodge the second fire arrow.
