Chapter 61:Sasha and 'Clown' Nathan

"I have to do what?"

Sighing the redhead could only shake his head as he looked at the warrior in front of him.

Sunday had passed without much incident after the dinner he had with Robert, the only thing he did when he got home was to have another great dinner to help his recovery.

After that, Monday arrived, he had his classes with Isengar and after that, he had come to Sasha and Nathan's house, luckily they were at home, plus after some cordiality he was now inside, they told him that they had managed to get all the materials for Nathan's potion during the weekend and he had been promoted to sequence 8, after congratulating the man Adryan told them of Father Utravsky's proposal.

And after that, he just got comfortable while waiting for Sasha's decision.

The two of Nathan and Sasha looked in surprise at the man sitting in front of them who was calmly drinking a glass of water while watching them with those red eyes.

Sasha would now be lying if she said that she wasn't excited by the news of her potion but she was also impressed by the speed of their boss. He had just said on Friday that he would look for the formula and just 3 days later he had theoretically obtained it.

The fact of having to work a few months in the Church of Mother Earth was not a problem for her, after all, 'She' was the mother of the God of Combat so there was no aversion towards this.

It could even be said that in a certain way, it would be like a little trip.

It was also a nice detail to say that when she was still a member of the Church of the God of Combat it was not uncommon to go to help the Church of Mother Earth, so it would even be comfortable for her to work there even if it was only for a few months.

"Boss, what do you mean with some 'problems'?"

At the question, Adryan shook his head before answering.

"Is not my place to tell you about Father Utravsky's problems but you can be sure that you won't be in much danger, just remember to follow his orders and not provoke him"

"He can also teach you a few things if you can get close to him, but I wouldn't recommend asking him about fights."

Sasha was silent for a few moments before turning her attention back to Nathan, who realized this and let his pendulum drop from his wrist, and closing his eyes he muttered something under his breath.

After that, Nathan opened his eyes and saw that the pendulum was turning clockwise. He wrapped his pendulum around his wrist again and then turned to look at Sasha.

"It's safe Sasha so you can take this job if you want."

Nodding at her partner's words, the tall woman turned to look at Adryan.

"I am willing to serve in the church with Father Utravsky, Boss"

"Perfect, then we can go when you are ready"

Adryan gave a little applause as Sasha got up and went to her room to get ready, leaving the two men alone.

Nathan suddenly felt that his new intuition as a clown was uneasy, so he turned somewhat awkwardly to look at the source of this discomfort.

What he saw was the fixed gaze of an animal looking at him as if he were a piece of meat, not missing any detail.

Nathan had to use his new ability to control his expressions and body to keep him from jumping in fright.

"What is the matter Boss?"

"How are you feeling Nathan? No discomfort during the promotion? You seem a bit nervous"

The source of this discomfort was none other than Adryan himself who was analyzing Nathan all the time.

And the aforementioned now kept using his skills to prevent his expression from changing.

"There was no problem Boss"

Adryan didn't have spiritual vision so all he could do was accept this answer and finally look away from Nathan.

At that Nathan had to hold back a sigh of relief and simply in his mind was yelling for Sasha to hurry up.

After 10 minutes Sasha came back downstairs wearing a white shirt along with black pants.

Nodding to Nathan, she heads to the door along with Adryan and before leaving she turned to look at him.

"I will come back later"

With a small smile the 'clown' Nathan answered

"See you later"

After the farewells, Sasha and Adryan headed up Rose Street where the Harvest Church was.

While they were on their way Adryan was thinking about Nathan.

It didn't seem like there was any problem during his promotion or in his state after, so he must have inadvertently ingested a good part or even the complete potion.

Of course, he couldn't ask him if he fully digested it before promoting due to the contract he signed, so the only thing he could do now was to promote quickly to break the contract so he could better cultivate Nathan and Sasha.

The last thing he wanted was for them to die in the middle of their promotion because of not digesting the potion....
