Rudeus after hearing about the pirate attack ran at full speed towards his house.

After spending the past 6 months with the Marines, he didn't only learn about swords and arrows but also the language, geography and tactical understanding of pirates and marines.

He knew that Captain Rasa was a strong man and any normal pirate will not last infront of him too long, so when he heard that pirates attacked only few possibilities came to his mind;

1. They are very strong pirates.

2. They are planning something fishy.

3. They are idiots.

The first possibility could be ruled out as even if they defeat the marines any strong pirate will not take any interest in such a small island.

The third could be ruled out as not many pirates in this weak East Blue sea would dare to attack an island where marines are stationed.

The second seem like the most probable possibility currently but if he could think of such a plan what made the pirates think that the marines wouldn't get it.

Rudeus on reaching his home started to pack all his stuff, he decided to prepare for all kind of possibilities.

He moved all the important things he had into the private space of the system and came out of his house taking the bow and arrows in his hands.

Rudeus decided to move to the village harbour, he thought the most protected area would be with the marines as rather than staying with the unknown it is more reliable to fight with an enemy that could be seen.

He was about to move when he heard someone calling him; "Rudeus! Rudeus! Pirates are attacking from the other side of the village"

Rudeus looked towards the direction of the voice only to see Glen, shouting and rushing towards him and shouting; "I just saw more than 5-6 boats heading in the village direction"

"Why didn't you tell the villagers first, we need to move" Rudeus exclaimed.

"I didn't know what to do when I saw so many boats, I was picking up some fruits in the other side when I saw them heading, what will happen to us now?" said Glen panicking.

"Let us inform the villagers now, we need to tell them to move to the harbour its safest place with the marines" Rudeus said as he was about to move, but then he heard;

{System Mission Service:

Mission: Stop the New Pirates.

Description: Pirates are attacking your village, hold them till the people evacuate from danger.

Mission Reward: 1 Lucky Draw for Beast, 1 MP potion, 2000SP.

Failure: Death} 

'System mission, now this is hard and failure will result in death' Rudeus started to rack his brain and forgot that he was standing beside someone.

Glen became worried seeing his friend like this asked "Rudeus let's move, we need to tell the villagers"

Rudeus came to his senses after hearing this he looked towards Glen and said "Glen you go and tell the villagers, I will inform the marine we need to prepare well"

Glen hearing this was about to say something but then realised that this was really the best thing to do, so he said Rudeus to take care and rushed towards the village.

Rudeus seeing his friend go relaxed and started to plan on how to stop the pirates.

He rushed towards the direction where Glen initially said, he thought he would just hold them for a while with his arrows and run away after that.

On reaching the other side a few boats came into his vision, they will reach the shore within a minute or so, Rudeus estimated and started to plan his attack when he saw the first character in real life from the comic and to his heartbreak it was Pirate Kuro.

Seeing Kuro an unknown fear swipe past him, he knew that with Kuro's speed if he reach the shore then Rudeus would be dead for sure.

"System, is there any way you could tell me about the number of people evacuated" Rudeus prayed as asked the question.

'Ok, that's better than nothing, I need to hold them for a while' thinking about it he hid himself in a position where the pirates could not see him but he could see them all. (I'm John Cena)

Rudeus aimed the arrow towards the pirates and after calculating a little took the shot.

....

"Captain Kuro, we are about to reach the island shore" one of the pirate said as he looked towards Kuro.

"Men, prepare yourself we will swipe the entire island in one go once we reach the shore" Kuro ordered.

"Aye Captain" all men roared in union.

"Captain Kuro, will there be really no mari-.." before he could finish the sentence an arrow pierced through his neck and the pirate fell into the sea.

"What!" "Who was that?" "Where did that arrow come from?" another pirate fell down just as the rest were panicking.

Chaos erupted among the pirates, looking at the scene, Kuro finally ordered; "All men, jump into the sea we will swim the rest, and spread up" just as he finished speaking he jumped into the sea followed by the rest of the pirates.

Rudeus seeing this panicked, he took a deep breath and decided to see the evacuation percentage first;

'19% more to go, let's calm down first and evaluate the situation, there were 7 boats, 5 people each, I took down 6 with my arrows, so there are 29 more men, I have 14 strong and 20 damaged arrows, I can't shoot them underwater and they don't know my location' Rudeus started to change his location as he knew he couldn't take chances with pirates.

Just as he was moving he saw two pirates crawling to the shore; he immediately took a shot and killed one, just as he was loading an arrow the other pirate shouted; "The archer is in the behind the big rocks."

Rudeus shot the other pirate who was trying to run away and changed his position.

He was killing pirates as he moved.

Rudeus saw a pirate heading towards him just as he was about to take a shot he heard;

"So, you are the little bug destroying my plan"
