Chapter 29 A Good Wife Or A Good Husband ? 2

I walked back into my room after breakfast with the black card Alex gave me, I really wanted to go out, but i haven't mastered this city very well. I remembered Brianna taking me around the day before the gala, but I was too exhausted that day to remember the places we went to. 

I got into my closet, wore a black bica short, a white chanel sweater and a stuart wietzman diamond dream stilletos. I picked my purse and left the room. I found my way back to the grand floor using the elevator this time. "Madam, master asked me to hand this files over to you and this lovely gifts!" Gaius said. He was holding few files in his hands, a large flower and a mini red package.

"Thank you Gaius, you can keep them in my room!" I said to have him bow and leave. I walked further to the lounge to see Elena walking out of a corner fully dressed and ready to go out. "What are you up to Elena?" I asked. "Master asked me to go with you for shopping today and if you still insist I shouldn't go with you, then i can also get you a personal shopper!" She said bowing.

 "Get me the personal shopper then!" I said to her. She smiled at my words as if not surprised by my option.

Soon the personal shopper arrived. "Good afternoon madame Wilson, the man said with a thick french accent. I'm Thomas Dupont short for 'Tom Du' the brand, in my company we are unparalleled and extremely authentic with our work....!" I rolled my eyes at his words. Whatever, Francophones are very particular a handling or advertising their businesses.

"Well then Mr 'Tom Du', I have an exquisite family dinner tonight and I want you to be my personal shopper for the day. Can you do just that?" I asked "With pleasure madame!" He responded. The moment I picked my purse and was about to leave, "Zel!" I heard Carie's vioce, I turned around to meet her gaze, she walked down the grand stairs towards me.

I didn't fail to notice the handsome figure behind her, in black joggers, his hands in his pocket as he walked down so gracefully with an expressionless face. Alex and his friends seems to have similar attitude, but Alex has a darker side. "I'll be in the car!" He said as he walked out of the mansion. "Are you two together now?" I whispered to Carie the moment she got close to me to have her smile coyly. I was aghast by the sudden revelation. "What?" She asked.

"You told me he was an asshole last night, and this morning you're back together that's so.... Wierd!" I said gesturing my hands for the maids and every other person to leave the lounge. "Confusing isn't it? You should be the first to understand these things Hazel. I mean, when did you and Alex start getting along?" She said.

"Come on don't compare our relationship to yours, we're only playing a game to make our fake long marriage interesting!" I said to her. "Fake marriage? Hazel, does marriage look like a joke to you? This is not fake, like it or not you're legally married to my brother!" Carie said.

"Come on Carie, you can never understand the relationship between I and Alex. You're from a wealthy family, no man can take advantage of you cause they'd be scared of your family. Unlike me, I was sold off to your family by my greedy father. Legally or not, it's a contract marriage. Every contract has an expiring date!" I said to her. I just hate thinking of my life but I can't run away from reality forever, one day I and Alex would be over, and I don't know what my life would be like after that cause my old life is lost.
