Chapter 37 : Stupefied.

Third person point of view

" I want to drink more ". Junghwan said breaking the silence and the others chuckled. " Let's sit for a while and then go get them ". Jihoon said and they sat in silence for a while. They then decided to get up. They walked around and found out that there was a beach festival going on. They all went there.

They only had to pay the entrance fee. So they did that and went in after getting their wrists stamped. " Let's enjoy ! Woohoo !! " Jihoon shouted and they joined in with the crowd. There were so many kinds of drinks, dance floor, pool and the beach on one side too. They all took a shot each and joined the dance floor.

All of them were having fun dancing their hearts away. They didn't drink a lot as they already had it before and only enjoyed dancing and running around happily along with the crowd. Junghwan and Jihoon also jumped in the pool. The other laughed at the sight. They were all hyped in the party atmosphere.

Junkyu went to sit at the side feeling a little tired. He let out a sigh and looked at the others who were still having the time of their life. He massaged his neck and let out a groan. Haruto looked around and noticed Junkyu was sitting on the side near the counter. He looked away and then turned to Junkyu again.

He wondered if he should go to him. He looked at the others who were still in their own world. He decided to go. He also slipped away. It was a bit tough to cross the crowd but he tried his best. He noticed that someone went and sat on the stood beside Junkyu. Junkyu didn't notice the person. Haruto raised an eyebrow.

He saw them glancing at Junkyu. His eyes went wide. He quickly made his way to Junkyu and sat on the other side. " Hyung ". Junkyu turned to Haruto. " Oh, Haruto ". Junkyu acknowledged his presence and went back to massaging his neck. " What happened hyung ? " Haruto asked and Junkyu looked up.

" Just a little tired ". Haruto nodded. He noticed the person was still sitting on the other side. Haruto raised his hand brushing off confetti in Junkyu's hair. Junkyu wondered what Haruto was doing. He understood what it was when he saw the confetti in Haruto's hand. " Thanks ". Haruto smiled. Junkyu went back to observing the people around.

Haruto turned to counter and got two water bottles. He gave one to Junkyu and took the other for himself. He drank the water and noticed the stranger was not in the seat anymore. He let out a breath and drank some more. Junkyu also drank the water. They just sat there for a while. Junkyu turned to Haruto.

" You don't want to go ? " Haruto thought about it. " Hyung ? " Junkyu chuckled. " Just go. I am fine here. I will come in a few minutes ". Haruto nodded. " Then... I will wait along with you ". Junkyu shook his head with a smile and but didn't object. Haruto stayed with him. When they were finally tired, it crossed midnight.

The sun would rise in less than an hour. They walked out of the party. And they were not too drunk as they enjoyed all the other things more. " What do we do now ? " Jeongwoo asked. " The sun is going to rise in a while. Let's watch the sunrise and then go and sleep ". Yoshi said and they all agreed. They sat down in the sand once again and waited.

The sunrise was beautiful. It was totally worth it. They took a few photos and then went back to the villa. They went to their own rooms and fell asleep as soon as their heads hit the pillow. They slept till afternoon. Jihoon was the first one to wake up. He walked out and felt his head throb. The other door opened and Junghwan walked out.

" I am hungry hyung ". Junghwan said and Jihoon laughed. " Me too ". " Shall we wake them up and go for lunch ? " " Sounds good ". They walked back in. Junghwan then woke up Jeongwoo and Doyoung. Jihoon went upstairs to wake the other two up. He knocked on the door. Haruto woke up because of it.

" What is it ? " He asked raising his head. " Both of you wake up and freshen up. Let's go for lunch ". " Okay ". Jihoon left and Haruto sat up. He went to the bathroom and finished first. He then woke Junkyu up. Haruto went down while Junkyu finished. Jihoon gave him an aspirin. They all gathered once again and left for lunch. They had some nice food to cure the hangover.

They were all groaning as their bodies were sore from all the jumping around. After lunch, they went around to look at different stores all evening. Just sitting around wouldn't help the pain anyway. They also had dinner outside and then took some medicine for the pains. They were all tired so they retired to their own rooms quickly.

The next morning, Junkyu was the first to wake up. He got out of bed and let out a sigh. He stretched and looked out. He walked out of his room to the balcony. He looked out at the beach and took a deep breath. He turned around to look inside and at Haruto who was still sleeping. He bit his lip.

They didn't yet solve the mystery of the drunken kiss. They didn't find the opportunity to do so. They tried their best to not show the awkwardness but it wasn't that easy. But then again they were considerably occupied all through the trip with something or other. Junkyu went back into the room. He went to the bathroom and finished his things.

He walked out, picked up his phone and walked out. He went to the living room and sat down there. He looked around feeling something was amiss. But he ignored it and continued to look through his phone. Haruto walked down after a few minutes. " The others are not awake ? " He sat down and looked around.

Junkyu shrugged and shook his head indicating he doesn't know. He put his phone away and looked up. " Jihoon-ah ". Junkyu called out but there was no response. They frowned. " Let me go check ". Haruto said and went upstairs. He tried opening the door but it was locked. His eyebrows knitted together.

It was the same with the other doors. He looked down calling out to Junkyu. " The doors are locked ". " What ? " Junkyu's eyebrows knitted together. " Let me go call Jeongwoo ". Haruto said and Junkyu nodded. " I will also call Jihoon ". Haruto walked up to their room where his phone was. Junkyu called Jihoon.

" Hello ". Jihoon answered. " Yah. Where are you ? " Junkyu asked. " Me ? At work ". Junkyu found it ridiculous. " What ? As in Seoul ? " " Yeah ". Jihoon answered seriously which left Junkyu in a shock." Yah. Don't joke ". Junkyu said trying to laugh it off. " I am not though ". Jihoon's serious tone burst Junkyu's little hope.
