Breaking Through Fear

Huahai Avenue, a bustling thoroughfare in the heart of the city, bustled with activity. Its six-lane road was lined with towering skyscrapers, creating an impressive skyline. Among these architectural marvels stood the iconic landmark building of Huahai City.

As Hu Shijun and Liu Yong stood in awe of the surrounding structures, Hu Shijun expressed his concern about the exorbitant rent prices.  " Brother Yong, the office buildings here are incredibly expensive, "  he remarked, his voice tinged with worry.

Liu Yong brushed off the concern, his tone confident.  " Don't worry, we'll manage, "  he assured. He believed in starting their company at a higher echelon, and choosing a prime location like Huahai Avenue's central business district would be a strategic move.

Financially, Liu Yong was well-prepared. He had enough to cover the rent with over 20 million yuan in his possession. Additionally, Bawang's recent discovery of an ancient shipwreck had the potential to bring substantial financial gain, further bolstering their prospects.

Their attention was drawn to a sleek, modern building that stood before them. Its fashionable glass exterior stretched upwards for about 40 to 50 floors—a Grade A office building. Though nervous, Liu Yong suggested inquiring about its availability, and Hu Shijun nodded in agreement.

Confidently, Liu Yong led the way into the building's lobby, where they were greeted by friendly front desk personnel. With a few simple inquiries, Liu Yong quickly ascertained the location of the building management company. He guided Hu Shijun into the elevator, their destination set.

Luck was on their side as they discovered that half a floor on the 42nd floor was available for rent. One company had recently vacated the premises, creating a perfect opportunity for Liu Yong and Hu Shijun.

Ecstatic, Liu Yong exclaimed,  " We've found our place! No need to search any further. "  His satisfaction was evident as he realized their luck finding a ready-to-move-in space with existing decor.

Eager to see the space, Liu Yong requested the representative,  " Could you show us around? " 

  " Of course, I would love to do that. "  The representative readily agreed, leading Liu Yong and Hu Shijun to the 42nd floor.

Exiting the elevator, they entered a vestibule that divided the floor into two sections. On the left side, they noticed a company called  " Hongda Mahogany, " , its tremendous and prominent gold-plated sign indicating a specialization in the mahogany trade.

Impressed, Liu Yong inquired about the neighbouring company. The manager accompanying them proudly shared,  " Mr. Liu, if you establish your company here, you'll be neighbors with the Hongda Redwood Group. "  It became clear that the owner, Zhao Zhenbiao, held significant influence in the mahogany industry, boasting a diversified business portfolio.

Taking in this valuable information, Liu Yong nodded, recognizing the potential benefits of being in close proximity to an influential player in the field.

The 42nd floor was divided in half, with Hongda Redwood Group occupying the vacant left and right sides. The manager guided Liu Yong and Hu Shijun through the space, showcasing its ample size of over 800 square meters, capable of accommodating a large workforce.

Although impressed, Hu Shijun couldn't hide his concern about the high price. He glanced at Liu Yong, silently indicating the need for a more affordable option.

Unfazed, Liu Yong continued discussing the details with the manager. He recognized the quality and value of the Grade A office building, believing that the rent was a bit steep but worth the investment.

After a thorough discussion, the lease agreement was finalized. Liu Yong paid a quarter's rent and a mutually agreed-upon security deposit, receiving the key to the premises in return. Excitement filled the air as they stood outside the office, ready to embark on their new venture.

As they prepared to lock the door and leave, a group of distinguished-looking individuals emerged from the elevator. Leading the pack was a middle-aged man exuding an air of authority.

Spotting Liu Yong, he approached with enthusiasm and inquired,  " You've rented this place? " 

Liu Yong nodded, and Hu Shijun eagerly interjected,  " Yes, this will be our company. Allow me to introduce Mr. Liu Yong, our boss. " 

The middle-aged man extended his hand and introduced himself  " I'm Zhao Zhenbiao. It's a pleasure to have you as our neighbour. Please let me know if you need any help" 

Liu Yong reciprocated the handshake, expressing his gratitude,  " Mr. Zhao, the pleasure is mine. I look forward to being neighbors. Thank you for the warm welcome. " 

After exchanging pleasantries, the two parties exchanged business cards. Liu Yong marvelled at the coincidence of having such an influential neighbour like Zhao Zhenbiao, who specialized in the mahogany trade and owned large-scale manufacturing facilities.

Leaving the office building, Liu Yong and Hu Shijun celebrated their successful endeavour with a lavish meal. Amidst the feast, Liu Yong shared his plans for the company's future.

He discussed the intention to hire a professional manager with expertise in ocean transportation through a headhunting company. This individual would oversee the day-to-day operations of the company. Additionally, Liu Yong planned to purchase one or two 10,000-ton ships to establish their transportation business. With a robust marketing strategy, they would also delve into deep-sea salvage and exploration, seizing opportunities that came their way.

Realizing that their initial capital of 20 million yuan might need to be increased for the company's early stages, Liu Yong eagerly awaited the outcome of Bawang's exploration of the ancient shipwreck. He yearned for a windfall that would provide the necessary financial boost.

Intrigued by the progress of the ancient shipwreck investigation, Liu Yong contacted Bawang, proposing a visit to the site. Excitement filled the air as they prepared for the exploration.

A short while later, they arrived at the sunken ship. Liu Yong eagerly inquired about Bawang's adaptation to the water pressure, concerned for his safety.

  " Hey Bawang, How are you doing, and How is everything going on? Hope you are doing fine ? "  Liu Yong said. 

Bawang reassured him, saying,  " The pressure is still noticeable, but I can handle it much better now. I should be able to stay for a while without any major issues. So Master there is nothing to worry about me, you may relax " 

Relieved, Liu Yong felt a renewed sense of excitement. With the opportunity to explore the ship, they hoped to uncover its hidden treasures and unlock the potential for further financial gain.
