Y/n was standing on the edge of the path looking at the water. It was early in the, and only a few people were around. He just wanted some time to relax and calm his mind down. He is getting better but he still needs time to process everything.

He sighs and thinks of something to take his mind off of everything when he thinks of something. What did Kiri say to him again? She said they had something like Christmas here on Pandora.

He figured he should start getting gifts for them but he needed to decide what they would like. He was grabbing his chin deep in thought about it. He did not hear the steps behind him slowly going faster till they were running at him.

Sadly when he noticed it was too late he felt his backbone turning into dust as he fell into the water.

He quickly came out wondering why it was always him who was getting his back blown out...…..pause

Author: nuh uh I say no pause.

y/n looked around for the cause of his back getting snapped away.

He couldn't find anyone which was strange because if there was anyone to do that it would be tuk but he couldn't find her around. He let out a sigh before swimming over and climbing up onto the walkway. 

As he got there he felt really out of breath which he found strange and his back was killing him. He looked down for a moment and saw his shadow it looked off.

He raised his arms, grabbed the strange part from what he saw in his shadow and lowered it in front of him. He let out a sigh.

Y/n: Tuk what are you doing here and this early?

Tuk: nothing... what about you what are you doing out here, Oh I should tell Kiri that you are out she has been worried about you

y/n: No!..... Sorry just not yet I just want to spend some time by myself out here

Tuk: oh ok.

She just looks down. y/n not paying much attention he looks back at the water letting out a sigh. After a couple of minutes, he opens his eyes after feeling tuk poking at his stomach.

Y/n;*sigh* yes tuk?

Tuk: Come play with me.

y/n: why?

Tuk: no one wants to play with me and every time I try to get loak, kiri, or Neteyam they push me off.

Y/n: well I can understand Neteyam because of his leg but the others.``sigh" Alright I'll play with you tuk.

She did a little hop from finally having someone who wanted to play with her.

Tuk: Yay! Come on, come on.

She grabbed him by his hand and started to pull him. He followed just letting her pull him along wanting to see where she was taking him

*later*  

Y/n was walking as tuk was sitting on his shoulders, her arms resting on his head as she was telling him which way to go.

y/n was deep in thought about maybe seeing some people after he and tuk are done playing around. It would probably be a good idea since the only person he has seen since the whole thing was Kiri and that was about it.

He got pulled out of his thoughts as tuk had her tail going up to his nose and started to move against his nose trying to make him sneeze.

Y/n: if you don't stop tuk then I will make you walk.

Tuk: No

She wrapped her arms around his head fully keeping herself close to his head so that he could not pull her off

Y/n: where are we going anyways tuk?

Tuk: I want to show you my friend.

Y/n: I thought you said you don't have anyone to play with?

Tuk: I was on my way to see her when I saw you. But come on, she is just right ahead.

They reach an area where there is mostly water and few huts around. Tuk got off of him and hopped down to the ground she walked over to the edge of the walkway and crotch down. Her tail was wagging around as she patted the water.

y/n watched from the back till he realized who this friend of hers was. A head popped out of the water. It was much smaller than the one he always had around him.

The one that tuk was smiling at he thought he saw it before. It might be the same one from when they first came here when Tsireya was walking them to the sully place tuk went to the same one that was here now.

Speaking of Tsireya she is one of the few he has to check in on later. Tuk was patting the IIu head as it playful opened its mouth doing pretend bites.

He got an idea when watching the two. He whistled as he walked over to tuk and rubbed her head.

She looked up at him as her tail swung around happily. That's when he pushed on her head a bit.

Y/n: tag your it.

He quickly jumped into the water as his Iiu was coming over.

Tuk: hey no fair.

He was already on his IIu connecting his queue with it.

Y/n: well what are you waiting for?

He quickly started to ride away from her as tuk looked around almost in a panic as she looked around till her eyes landed on her small friend.

She remembers what y/n said about the queue and how her mother always said how dangerous it was for her to own an ikran but this was an IIu so it was fine right?

She got into the water looking at her friend.

*back with Y/n*

He got to an area not too far from tuk so he could wait for her.  It felt nice to be moving again after being cooped up in his little home for a bit.

He took a fresh deep breath in as he watched the waves look down and start rubbing his IIu and scratching her chin. It let out a squeal as its tail was slapping into the water.

He was looking at the missing tail fin and thought about getting it fixed soon. So that she could move just like how she used to move.

Though how was he going to do that? he doesn't have the stuff to do that here unless. He thought there was one place he could try the Omatikaya clan, maybe they would have the stuff there.

Before he could think about it anymore he felt his face getting splashed with water he tried shaking it off and looked and saw tuk on the baby IIu.

Y/n: dang tuk You scared me there for a moment.

Tuk: haha I got you now then tag your it.

She slapped him on his side as she was riding off. A small smile was on his face before speaking to his IIu.

Y/n: try going slow on them after all we are only playing with them and it would be boring if they can't get us and if we get them too fast.

It nodded as it started following them going slower. That was when he had a weird moment where it felt like he was getting an idea but it was not his idea he looked down at his IIu. it was looking back up at him.

Was it her idea? Well, he liked what it showed him. He nodded at it. As they followed slowly they started going under into the water so the two could not see him.

Tuk was looking around trying to find where y/n went. She was confused about where he had gone as she started to have the IIu slowly moving around.

Before she could see anything y/n jumped out of the water grabbing tuk and flinging her off of the IIu. She went flying into the water and she quickly popped out of the water. her ears were twitching as she looked and saw y/n standing on his IIu.

Y/n: I got you but hey tuk let's go and check in on your brother he is probably lonely without anyone there with him.

Tuk: I think my mom is watching over him but sure can we get him something since we are out?

Y/n: yeah of course we can let head down to the market then head over to him 

Tuk: Yay!

*later*

The two were making their way from the market to the hut. tuk was holding the food that they got for Neteyam her ears were flickering up and her tail waving around.

Y/n: Are you sure he will like this and not actually what you would like?

Tuk: hey come on I know he likes this

She looked away from him as she crossed her arms trying to look offended by what he said.

Y/n: fine if you say so.

The two made it to the sully home. y/n gave a quick knock before heading in with tuk walking right behind him. He saw Neteyam sitting up watching the sea in the distance. Neytiri was sitting close by working on something.

Neteyam looked at the two as they came in and he smiled before trying to get up.

Y/n: woah calm down there Neteyam just relax.

Neteyam listened to what y/n said and sat back down.

Neteyam: Y/n it's great to see you again. How are you doing?

Y/n: I'm doing good just processing everything you know?

Neteyam: Yeah I get it but it's so good to see you again.

Y/n sat down next to Neteyam and he went and pulled y/n in and hugged him. y/n smiled as he closed his eyes and patted on his back

Tuk: Hey, don't forget me!

He pulled tuk into the hug as well her tail moved around happily after getting pulled into the hug.

Neteyam: and tuk as well.

Tuk pulled away as she grabbed the food that she placed on the side and gave it to him.

Neteyam: What is this?

Y/n: me and tuk got you some food since we were out so before heading over here we got you something to eat.

Neteyam: Aw thanks guys

He picked it up and started to move the leaves that were covering it keeping it warm and fresh.

Neteyam: Oh nice this is pretty good.

Y/n: So how is your leg doing?

Neteyam: I'm almost back to normal but mom won't let me leave. She keeps saying I need to relax.

Neytiri: don't be stupid Neteyam, how are you going to get better if you're putting pressure on your leg?

Neteyam: I know mom 

Neytiri: Good and tuk come here I need to talk to you about you leaving too early in the morning

Tuk: yes mom

Her tail slumped down after hearing Neytiri using her stern tone toward her. She slowly walked over to her mom as y/n stayed next to Neteyam,

Neteyam: So are you actually fine?

Y/n: I really am fine, only time will help me so don't worry about it. I'm fine

Neteyam: well if you say so but just know that if you need to talk I'm here for you man.

Y/n: thanks for saying that Neteyam I'm glad I could say that you are my homie

Neteyam: Homie?

Y/n shook his head as he let out a small laugh.

Y/n: Homie is your best friend, someone you could trust no matter what.

Neteyam: then I'm happy to say you're mine homie as well. 

Y/n: but I should head out. It's good to see that you're doing much better with your leg. After this, I think I'm going to head over to Tsireya and see how she is.

Neteyam: yeah that would probably be a good idea she will want to see you as well I'm sure of it.

Y/n: alright I'll see you later alright?

Neteyam: Of course, I will, who else would make sure you don't get into trouble when I'm not around?

y/n hit him on the shoulder as he stood up. He was making his way out when he noticed Neytiri staring at him in a weird way like she had something planned. He shook it off as he started walking over to where Tsireya's hut was.

He was thinking it over about what he should say. He found it funny he never really did this but he was thinking so much about this that he felt like he was nervous about this interaction.

He got to the door of the hut before he knocked on it. He heard two voices inside before the door opened to his surprise he saw Aonung there he looked at y/n before looking back to Tsireya.

Aonung: Y/n here I'll leave you two be.

He turned back to y/n patted his shoulder and had an understanding look. before he starts to walk past him

y/n: sorry about your loss he cares about you both a lot

Aonung: thanks

Y/n took a deep breath in as he walked into the place making sure to close the door.

He took a look around the place before he saw Tsireya who was looking at him from her bed he could tell she had been crying. He walked over and sat down next to her.

It was quiet for a bit. So y/n decided to start the whole thing.

Y/n: so…. What were you and Aonung talking 

Tsireya: We were talking about our father.

A small smile was on his face after hearing that.

Y/n: ah Tonowari man he was one of the best people I know.

Tsireya: I just can't believe he went just like that.

Y/n: we knew what we were getting into when we went after that thing.

Tsireya: I miss him y/n I miss him so m-much

He noticed that she was crying. He grabbed her shoulder and made her look at him

Y/n: you know he wouldn't want you to be stuck grieving on him like this.

Tsireya: What else am I supposed to do? I just wish he didn't die when he left.

Y/n: no one could have predicted this to happen, especially in such a short period me and him were talking with each other about the whole thing I said at his funeral then the next day he was gone. 

Tsireya: Did you mean what you said up there?

Y/n: yes I meant everything.

Tsireya: "Small laugh" Yeah he liked you a lot Remember when you guys first started your thing he was saying all those weird things. Funny how those words now match what happened.

She stopped saying anything when he looked at her and she was looking down crying more. He pulled her in and hugged her.

He felt her fingers dig into his skin. He did not say anything before he felt her loosen her grip. He pulled away slightly and raised one of his fingers to her face wiping away tears from her face.

Y/n: just know that he loves all of you a lot and one of his final requests to me was to watch over his family for him. Which is why I know you will pull through this. Now show me the girl that I know.

She was looking down at the floor but slowly looked up at him with a smile on her face.

Tsireya: thanks for telling me that y/n

His hand was now cupped to her cheek still using his thumb to wipe her tears away as he smiled at her.

She looked up at him while she placed her hand on his. Before she closed her eyes and pushed herself forward and kissed him. It caught him a bit off guard but he went with it also fully into the kiss.

She quickly pulled back realizing what she had done and her face turned from her normal blue to the shade of red.

Tsireya: I'm so sorry I don't know what came over me. I shouldn't have done that

He let out a small laugh as he saw her panicking. He grabbed her chin and turned her to look at him. She stared at him and he could tell that she was nervous.

Y/n: it's fine Tsireya you don't need to be scared about that kiss and that was a pretty good kiss if it was your first time.

Her face got a bit more red but he could tell that she was calming down slightly. 

He got off her bed and did a quick stretch as he turned around to look at her.

Y/n: besides that kiss Tsireya I know that you that I know you will get through this after all you still have your family to support you.

Tsireya: yeah you're right I need to stay strong for my mother and brother thanks for the talk y/n…..and the kiss.

Y/n nodded as he headed to the door and opened it. He took a step and looked back at her with a smile. Before walking out.

The sky was almost dark so he decided to wait to talk to Ronal for tomorrow.

He made his way to his home, opened the door, walked in and he fell face-first into his bed as he turned to look up. 

He got himself falling to sleep but then someone knocked on the door.

There shouldn't be anyone here at this time he thought to himself as he got up and walked over he opened his door and saw someone there he was not expecting.

y/n: N-neytiri?

Sorry if this chapter wasn't like the others and felt worse than what I normally put. Hopefully after this whole part we will be back to how things were before.

Anyway I'm heading on break see you all in a couple of weeks
