The Culprit is Among Us!

As Ein was about to begin the interrogation, he didn't forget to apply detoxification to the four, just in case they also had slow-acting poison in them. After that, a short bout of horrified screams echoed for a while until only one of the four remained in one piece. Literally.

"W-w-w-we re-really don't know... we were j-just hired...!"

The last of the five assassins trembled in his boots as he confessed everything he knew. He was afraid of facing the same end that his other friends did. However, even though he confessed everything, he basically had nothing much to share.

"Well, I guess that's it," Ein sighed as he stood up, nodding to Althea lightly.

As he did, vines appeared from all over the room, piercing every inch of the assassin's body. No blood was spilled, however, as the vines themselves absorbed all liquids, turning a bloody red in color after the man was "devoured" cleanly. Not even an eep was heard as he died.
