When the young Lucifer reach the place where the explosion originated, I see Kuroka prepared to run and attack her master again.

"Wait, Kuroka," He talk with her.

"I will help you, I can hold him in place for some seconds and then you can attack him, let's work together, after all he's a high-class devil and you, even being of the same level, is clearly exhausted." Nero speak again.

Kuroka looked around, trying to identify the place where my voice was coming from. Then, a boy emerged from shadows. The master of the Naberius family was taken aback by the sudden appearance of a stranger, but soon recovered. "Who are you? Wait, are you that useless brat who is Rizevim's grandson? The famous useless heir of the Lucifer family, it's nice to meet you, but you should get out of here boy, this place is too dangerous for someone as weak as you are. ' he asked, with disdain.

"And what are you going to do to make me leave? Call my grandpa to drag me home?"

Nero speaks in a mocking tone.

"It's a great idea, Rizevim is one of my associated, he will be happy to hear the results of this super devil project and to be able to punish his disobedient descendant."

The master of the Naberius family smirks at me.

The young male devil silently raise my arms pointing in the enemy direction, this gesture caused his shadows to move and link with the Naberius master's shadow keeping a straight line conecting both of us, after that the shadows materialized and enveloped the master, trapping him in the place and forcing him to remain immobile.

Kuroka took the opportunity to attack her master, delivering a powerful blow in his chest that left him seriously injured.

The master looked at the two of us with hatred and desperation. "Boy, get out of here now and I won't tell your grandfather anything about this. Our families are old allies and your grandfather supports my research, are you sure you dare to go against me and your old man?"

"Don't worry, no one will tell him what happened here. That's exactly why you need to die, after all dead men tell no tales." I smirk at his despair.

Immediately, even before the master of the Naberius family could do anything, I condensed my darkness magic into a single beam, hitting him in the same spot where Kuroka had wounded him earlier.

The master screamed in pain as he was hit by the beam of darkness that opened a hole in his chest, then he staggered and was immediately attacked by Kuroka who dealt the lethal blow by digging her claws into the heart of her now deceased master.

Kuroka turns to me with a questioning look, clearly on why I'm present at an experimental base affiliated with my family.

"Who exactly are you? As far as I know, Rivezim has two grandchildren, the famous strong one who have the white dragon sacred gear and the infamous weak one who has a mediocre talent of just a middle-class devil.

Kuroka looked at me warily and she asked curiously

Nero keep my calm and resolute expression, even thought he is a little bit offended by the public view of people considering him a useless guy.

"Well, as you said I am the infamous one, my name is Nero Lucifer. And you are not in danger, I came here to cause trouble for my dear grandfather and in my spare time I was able to help you like I promissed to that little girl named Shirone."

After receiving confirmation about the identity of your unexpected ally she get calmer. Kuroka stood triumphantly over the defeated master of the Naberius family. The room was in shambles, and the stench of magic and blood hung heavily in the air.

"Well done devil boy," Kuroka smiles at me. "You fought well."

I nodded, still breathing heavily from the intense battle. "Thank you, Kuroka. You were amazing as well."

"Wait a minute, you said Shirone asked you to come here, is she here?"

Kuroka start to get in panic after realizing that I came here because her sister asked me, she immediatly looks around the room to see if she could find the little white nekomata.

"No, she is safe outside with the queen of Sirzechs Lucifer, Grayfia Lucifuge also known by the tittle Queen of Annihilation."

I explain to her.

After receiving this information Kuroka calmed down. We looked down at the lifeless body of the Naberius family master, feeling a sense of relief that the threat he posed was now eliminated.

"Kuroka, we have to get out of here. Let's go outside, Grayfia and your sister should be waiting for us." Nero speak.

Kuroka keep looking at her former master, she suddenly keeps stomping and cursing while laughing maniacally with excitement over the dead man's body. The same master who always terrified her was now dead under her feet.

"Let me have some fun. When we get out of here they'll probably give this garbage a proper burial, at least now I can vent my hatred." Kuroka smiles slyly.

"Kuroka, we really should go to a safer place. We need to explain the situation we witnessed, and it's better to explain before the people who go to investigate develop prejudices against you." Nero speak again holding his frown forehead.

After some minutes of violence done by the nekoshou against the corpse, Nero still was trying to convince her to leave that place. But their moment of triumph was cut short when the Naberius devil suddenly stirred, his eyes openned slowly.

"Y...you thought you had defeated me, didn't you?" he rasped, coughing up blood. Kuroka attacked him in the moment he started to speak but a barrier involved him. "Fools. I had prepared a backup plan for a fight inside this laboratory long in advance... *cough cough* ..., I expected to fight someone stronger than you two like those annoying mem... *cough cough* ... members of the new devil kings faction like Sirzechs or his queen, or even the members of the old devil king faction like the direct descendents of the originals devil kings afterall those bastards are not trustable... *cough cough*... My plans fail and I lose it all. *hahahaha* I tried so hard and got so far, but in the end it doesn't even matter. Well, at least those bombs will serve their purpose."

He began to convulse, his body glowing with a bright light and multiple magic runes imediatly activated around him. We knew what was coming next after seeing the magic circles in his laboratory – an explosion that would kill everyone in this laboratory.

"Hey little cat, do you know I prepa... *cough cough* ... prepared a present to you? After you lost your value as my experiment I made the preparations to get rid of you. There are many incrimination documents inside my lab

... *cough cough* ... that will lead anyone to think you suffer from madness after being addicted by your own power *hahaha* you two are going to die here and your sister is going to be executed as the sister of a stray devil. A good plan right *hahaha* I am amazing even at my end."

Kuroka reacted quickly, grabbing Nero by the arm and teleporting out of the subterranean lair, when she was activating her teleportation circle, they heard a deafening roar from behind. Turning around, they saw the entire underground complex exploding, sending rocks and debris flying in every direction. When a huge bolder was almost hitting the young duo, Kuroka's teleportation circle was activated and they left that damn laboratory.

The explosion damaged the teleportation circle causing interference at destination which sent them to a different location, they ended up on a deserted slope in the human world.
