Yu Weimin was originally focused on the movie. In his world, the movies could only be experienced as either bystanders or becoming actors themselves through VR. Of course there were traditional ways to watch the movie just like what he was doing right now, but no one with a lot of money at hand would go with it anymore.

And he, being a famous villain, was wealthy enough to buy several theaters in one go by investing only five percent of his money. This was basically the first time he was watching in a theater, and it was such a pleasant experience.

Better than the VR. He didn't have to move a muscle and follow the protagonist everywhere to experience the show first hand. And he didn't have to enter the protagonist's perspective by buying it at costly rates.
