Cole felt a soft body fall into his arms, making him freeze. He stopped biting as he felt an iron taste in his mouth.

He could still feel the other person breathing, but the Omega's pheromones stopped spreading around, making his Alpha instincts scream that something was terribly wrong with the person in his arms.

Oliver's eyes were closed, and his brows were still furrowed as if the man was in deep pain before falling unconscious. The man's body had turned cold, with blood dripping down his glands drop by drop and coloring the entire body red.

A bucket of cold water seemed to have been poured down Cole's body. His heart nearly stopped beating as he stared at the Omega in horror. If not for the chest still moving steadily, he would have gone crazy.
