[Bonus chapter] Out of Control

I looked down to Benedito's sleeping form with a frown as I stood next to the bed. I had barely slept the entire night from stress. I could not even sleep in the same bed as him therefore I just sat on the couch most of the night. 

By the time is was 6am I just decided to go take a shower and get ready for the day. It was 9am and I could tell he was going to wake up at any moment by how much he stirred. 

Whenever I thought I understood him all he did was expose more layers to himself. I did not even know how to feel at this point. I was just exhausted and disappointed. 

It took me hours to get him to go to sleep. He was rambling on and on about things I barely understood and once he switched to Portuguese I just switched off my brain completely.
