I once again carried Jess over my shoulder, bringing her over to the infirmary so that she could rest. The rest of the people in her group stayed back for now, seemingly coming to some kind of agreement.
Once we did get to the infirmary, I laid her down. This was the one for Class S, so the room itself was empty since few people used it in the first place. Though the actual furniture was rather luxurious, especially so for the large and comfy-looking bed.
Jess looked a little guilty as she looked away.
"Sorry for making you carry me here..."
I blinked a few times.
"Usually people feel better when you thank them instead of apologizing."
Jess blinked a few times as a small smile formed on her face.
"Then thank you, brother."
The corner of my lip turned up.
"No problem, sister. It's not like this was the first time."
She let out a small sigh and closed her eyes.
"I'm sorry. I wasn't able to do it properly. It looks like I still have ways to go to become stronger."
