Bruno held a vision slab on his hands. It's content is making him feel nauseous, it felt so wrong. He should destroy this. He tilted the vision, hoping it is just a wrong interpretation but no, he's right. He dropped the vision on the cold ground of his vision cave. The scruffy 39yo man walked down his whole flight of stairs, feeling the heavy burden of telling Corazon the vision about her granddaughter. Bruno held the door knob, he'll lie again. He won't let an innocent woman be dragged on his sad, pathetic life. He opened the door, the blonde woman who helped raised him and his siblings flashed a warm smile. He must protect this smile. Bruno faked a chuckle. "I had a great vision for Luna, she'll marry a very handsome, rich and intelligent man. She'll have a happy life Señora." Bruno said, faking his smile. The old woman hugged Bruno. He felt a slight pain as he heard how grateful the old woman. Unknown to her that it is all a lie. The young woman wouldn't marry a handsome, rich, and intelligent man. She's destined to marry him, Bruno Madrigal. But God knows how he will do everything in his power to avoid that vision.
Luna, a 13yo stood at their house's balcony, a violin perched on her shoulder. Her grandfather and grandmother sat a few feet away from her. Their family friends, the Madrigals sat beside her grandparents. Pepa and Julieta excitedly wait for the girl to play. They helped raise the girl, after all, the girl's mother is their best friend and childhood friend who died from childbirth.
Luna exhaled, trying to calm down. She needs to make her grandfather proud, she needs to make Tío Agustín proud, and she needs to be perfect. Her amber eyes met with her grandfather's icy blue eyes. Her heart pounded fast, she was already nervous but seeing her grandfather's cold judging eyes made her panic. Her small hands started to tremble, but in the corner of her eye, she saw her biggest fans, Agustín, Felix, Isabela, and Dolores. They smiled at her, Agustin showing her thumbs up to calm her down.
"Focus on us, I know your Grandfather is very critical of you but just look at me and your Tío Felix okay?" Agustin calmly said as he knelt down to be on her eye level, he is her father figure alongside Felix. "We will always be proud of you."
She lets out another exhale. Her fingers are positioned on the first notes of Caprice 24 by Paganini. Paganini is her favorite musician alongside Agustin. She closed her eyes and started playing. Her long strawberry blonde hair swayed alongside the wind. Her Tíos and Tías smiled proudly as she perfectly played Caprice 24.
Outside the Bourbon house, Bruno Madrigal walked home after another failed vision reading. He's so tired of people asking him to have a vision of them and yet blame him if they don't like the vision. He huffed as he heard a violin playing. He knows that it is the young de Bourbon playing. He paused walking as he closed his eyes to listen, he was at peace for a few seconds but his eyes shot up. He remembered how Corazon, Luna's grandmother asked him about her grandchild's future. He hated that vision. He hated it so much that he broke it and made a false testament to Corazon.
The vision is him and Luna getting married.
