Wooin knocked on his father's office. "Dad, it's Wooin."

Kang Daeshim rose up from his chair and personally opened the door so his 7-year-old son could enter.

Kang Daeshim picked up Wooin and let him sit on his lap.

"What is it, son?" Kang Daeshim said. Wondering what his son wanted to talk about.

"Dad can I request something?"

Kang Daeshim was shocked and happy at the same time. Because this is the very first time his son requested something. Ever since he was a child, Daeshim noticed that Wooin never asked for anything. Even on special occasions like birthdays and christmas.

Of course, Wooin did not ask for anything until now because he is not used to having luxuries. Being poor in his past life, he fully understands the value of money and how hard it is to earn money.

"Of course. Just tell me what it is."

"Dad, Jiwoo and I were wondering if we can turn our playroom into a dance studio. Our playroom is spacious enough and all we have to do is to install huge mirrors on the walls. We also want to donate our toys to Sunlife Orphanage." Wooin said to his father.

'My sons really love music, huh. Just like their mother.' Kang Daeshim thought, feeling proud.

"Of course we can do that. And I'm so proud that you wanted to share your toys to the less fortunate." His father petted him in the head. "Let dad handle everything. It should be done in a week."

"Thanks, dad." Wooin kissed his dad on the cheek and jumped off his lap. "Dad should continue his work. I'll just play with Jiwoo."

Kang Daeshim looked over his mature son as he stormed off his office.

"So, how is it?"

Dad called me and Jiwoo over to show us the newly renovated dance studio.

One side of the room is covered with glass. And there is one huge speaker on the corner of the dance studio. It looked like those dance practice rooms that idol trainees used.

"Dad, it's perfect! Thank you!" I hugged him while jumping slightly in excitement. Jiwoo also looked satisfied.

Although Jiwoo is only 5 years old, he dances well. He can learn and copy any choreography and he can also do freestyle. I think he has a talent in making dance choreography. Which is great cause I am more on the vocal side.

I can suddenly view as like some golden duo..

"Hyung! Let's dance!" Jiwoo beamed.

"Do it later. I still have some surprise for you." Dad interjected.

We looked at him curiously.

"I'm sure you will like it. Now, follow me."

Dad lead us to the door under the stairs.

"Dad isn't this the way to the basement?" I asked and Dad just smiled.

We have an underground basement. There, we put our old things such as furnitures. It's like a stockroom.

We walked down the basement and when dad opened the door and we finally saw what's inside, I was speechless.

The spacious basement was turned into a recording studio. It is complete with microphone, digital audio workstation, MIDI controller, everything.

There are also instruments like grand piano, guitar, electric guitar, drum set, bass, and violin.

Plus, the whole basement is covered with soundproof pads.

"But Dad, isn't this too much? We only asked for a dance studio." Although I would really love to have a recording studio, I know how expensive these equipments are.

"Silly, it's not too much! This is our gift for you since your birthday is already approaching. And don't worry about money. Me, your mother, and your grandparents paid for it. I did not buy it with my money alone. Though I can definitely afford this." Dad said with a proud voice.

Tsk. He's just bragging.

Apparently, our family own chains of 5-star hotels around the world and we also own thousands of resorts around the world.

Meanwhile, our grandparents own hundreds of malls in Asia alone. I don't know how much they own in other continents.

"By the way Dad, where did our old furniture go?" I inquired. Those furniture can still be used as it only has minimal flaws. Our mother's just fond of changing our furniture every year so all of them are still in good condition.

"Oh, I sent them to orphanages together with your toys."

I nodded. The kids in the orphanage can use the beds and the sofas can be put in the receiving area.

"Anyways, do you want me to hire you some music instructors?" My dad asked.

I was about to tell him that he did not have to but I remembered that I was supposed to be a child. And they will get suspicious if I tell them that I already know how to use the recording equipments.

"Yes please. But tell them to only come during weekends cause I have school."

Kang Wooin, 17 years old, currently in 1st year of high school at National University of Arts (NUA)

Kang Jiwoo, 15 years old, currently in 3rd year of middle school at National University of Arts (NUA)

[NUA, high school campus cafeteria]

"Uh isn't that Kang Jiwoo?"

"Huh? Who?"

"Kang Wooin-sunbaenim's younger brother!"

"Wow! I didn't know Kang Wooin-sunbaenim has a brother."

"But this is the first time that I saw Wooin-sunbaenim's brother here."

"Of course it is! Kang Jiwoo is still in middle school!"

"And it is usually Wooin-sunbaenim who visits Jiwoo in middle school campus. My younger sister said that Wooin-sunbaenim and Kang Jiwoo always eats together. Jiwoo gave a high-five to his older brother— Wooin, when he reached their table.

"I think I made the wrong decision of befriending you two. It's always noisy with you around. It's kinda annoying." Choi Gangseok complained.

"Come on, Gangseok-hyung. It comes natural with our looks." Jiwoo brushed his hair upwards like a model.

"Shut it, kid." Gangseok retaliated.

Wooin and Gangseok became friends when they were just 7 years old. And it's been 10 years already.

Wooin would often bring Gangseok in their house and he also introduced Jiwoo to him. At first, Jiwoo would always talk rudely to Gangseok because of jealousy. Jiwoo was only 5 years old at that time so he had immature thoughts that Gangseok is stealing his hyung from him.

But over time, he eventually accepted Gangseok and besides, Wooin sweet-talked him, saying that Jiwoo is his one and only brother and no one will replace him.

"Where's Jisuk?" Wooin asked Jiwoo.

"He went to the library." Jiwoo answered.

Yoo Jisuk is Jiwoo's friend. Jiwoo met Jisuk when he was 13 years old, during Jiwoo's 1st year in middle school. They are already friends for 2 years.

Unlike the three of them, Jisuk entered NUA through academic scholarship. He gets free tuition, but he needed to ace his major subjects. His daily allowance for food and fare is not included in his scholarship.

Jisuk is really thankful to Jiwoo and Wooin because their father decided to sponsor him when Jiwoo introduced Jisuk to their father.

As Jisuk's sponsor, their father gives him monthly allowance of 5,000 USD. And it's not a small amount because the average expenses of a family of four costs around 2,500 USD.

Jisuk is thrifty so most of his allowance are given to his parents and siblings. Besides, Wooin, Gangseok, and Jiwoo always treats him to everywhere. Because of the sponsored allowance and generous treats of the three, Jisuk's family used the money as capital to open a small restaurant.

For Jisuk, the Kangs (Jiwoo, Wooin, and their father) and Gangseok are like his savior. They were there during his lows, and he can feel that they are treating him like real family.

Of course, the Kangs are not just mindlessly spending their money. Kang Wooin already expressed his desire in making a boy group together with Yoo Jisuk.

Yoo Jisuk has an insane vocal range. He can easily reach high notes and he can also make his voice sound low, deep, solemn, and heavy. He is the perfect main vocalist!

Now, Wooin's plan is finally coming together.

Kang Jiwoo, his younger brother, will be their main dancer and choreographer.

Choi Gangseok, his bestfriend, will be the main rapper.

Yoo Jisuk will be their main vocalist.

He will be the leader and main visual. Because honestly, the godly being really kept his promise and so far, he haven't seen anyone that's more attractive than him.

And no one's fit to be the leader besides him. Jiwoo just plays around and he's too young. Gangseok is too quiet. And Jisuk's already busy enough with his studies and helping in their restaurant. So he's the best choice.

And no, Wooin is not concerned about Gangseok and Jisuk rejecting his offer of making a boy group together. Because first of all, Jiwoo and Wooin has been friends with Gangseok for already 10 years. On the other hand, Jisuk and Jiwoo are friends. Second, they are all students of National University of Arts (NUA). Obviously, they love music and they dream of something related to music.

"So where are we going?" Jiwoo asked. Their class ended early as the teachers will have a faculty meeting regarding the school's foundation day.

"We'll eat at Jisuk's family's restaurant first and then we'll head home. I want to talk to the three of you about something." Wooin decided, then he looked at Jisuk. "Jisuk, pack some clothes. You'll sleep at our house."

"Okay Hyung."

Unlike Gangseok who comfortably wears some of Wooin's clothes when he sleeps there, Jisuk couldn't do the same no matter how many times Jiwoo and Wooin encouraged him to just wear anything that is there in their walk-in closets.

And the reason why Jisuk refuses to wear their clothes is because all of those are branded. One shirt alone costs a hundred USD. So he feels uncomfortable and would rather bring his own clothes.

Gangseok, on the other hand, is also filthy rich. His family owns Namsung Electronics, a company that produces electronic devices such as mobile phones, laptops, and tablets. So he is used to wearing luxury brands.

The three of them did not verbally tell that their things are luxury brands but Jisuk is intelligent and he can tell that his friends are rich. And that's what he liked about his friends. Although they are rich, they never bragged about it and they never belittled him.

Jisuk often sleeps at their house. Of course, Wooin asks Jisuk's parents for permission first.

Jisuk's parents are grateful towards the Kangs so they are letting their son sleep over their house. Besides, Jisuk's older brother, Yoo Subin is there to help them in their restaurant. Subin was not able to finish school but Kang Daeshim, Wooin and Jiwoo's father, plans to give him a managerial position in one of their resorts. He is currently training under one of the senior managers and in his free time, he helps in the restaurant.

"Good afternoon, Auntie!" The three of them greeted Jisuk's mom, who's in the counter.

Jisuk, on the other hand, kissed his mother's cheeks as a sign of respect and affection.

"Aigoo~ my handsome sons are here." Jisuk's mom said, smiling at them.

"Yes Auntie. We're here to taste your delicious dishes again." The four sat in their usual spot.

"Stop joking~ I know that your chefs cook better." Jisuk's mom laughed.

"Come on, Auntie. We liked your cooking better than those old geezers!" Jiwoo jokingly said.

"Hahaha stop sweet-talking me already and make yourselves comfortable while I cook your favorites."

"Thank you, Auntie." They said in unison.

Jisuk's mom felt warm. She is thankful that his son has such well-mannered friends. She is also aware of their financial differences and never did the three of them disrespected their family.

She still remembers one incident that made her like those three kids, especially Wooin.

Years ago, after they have finished eating, Jiwoo placed 20 USD in the table as payment.

"Don't you have 10 USD in your wallet? We only need to pay 10 USD for our meal."Jisuk's mother heard Wooin talking to his brother.

"It's okay hyung. They can keep it as a tip." Jiwoo explained.

Wooin sighed and turned his head towards Jisuk's mother and said, "I'm sorry Auntie. My younger brother is not trying to belittle you or anything. This is just our first time dining in a local restaurant so he does not know that he's acting rude just now." he looked sincerely apologetic.

Wooin faced his brother. "Jiwoo, although the gesture of leaving money as a thank you is seen as polite in foreign countries, it can be considered rude here in Korea. Being polite and saying thank you for their services is enough here. " Wooin explained.

Jiwoo stood up and bowed. "I'm sorry, Auntie! We often spend our vacation overseas and tipping is normal there. This is our first time eating in a local restaurant so I was ignorant. I'm sorry, Auntie! I will remember not to do it again." Jiwoo gave 10 USD to Jisuk's mother. The exact payment needed for their meal.

"It's okay. I really understand." Jisuk's mother smiled warmly.

Unlike rich people who eats at their restaurant would often leave excess money as though they are pitying their restaurant, Wooin even scolded his brother for doing the same.

So Jisuk's mother really liked their attitude.
