Snape's Movement

Editor: Atlas Studios

Snape could not care less about Harry's threats, which he found amusing, but he was also extremely unhappy that Harry had gone against his orders and unilaterally divulged that he was going to study Occlumency tonight.

"Good. It seems you have no intention of remembering anyone's warnings until you've been taught a lesson," Snape threatened.

"That depends on who gets the orders!" Harry replied, glaring at Snape.

"Keep being stubborn, then…" Snape sneered. "I think you might have forgotten that anger can make your brain's defences go haywire…"

Snape did not wait for Harry to get ready, but waved his wand again and shouted, "Telekinesis!"

Harry was visibly dazed for a moment, and then he felt his head swim as memories that he had tried so hard not to see resurfaced.

Harry gritted his teeth and tried to stop it, but his wand was no longer in his hand, so he had to do his best to recall the memories that didn't matter and try to hide the more important secrets.

The stalemate lasted for what seemed like an eternity, and just as Harry was beginning to feel he could not hold on any longer and the secret of the Cloak of Invisibility was about to be revealed, the feeling of his brain being invaded vanished.

Harry sank to the ground, breathing hard, his forehead beaded with sweat, but before he could breathe a sigh of relief, Snape's voice rang in his ear like a demon.

"Take five minutes, then continue!"

Five minutes? Harry shuddered. He tried to stand up and argue with Snape, but he didn't have the strength to speak…

For the next hour or so, Snape's teaching was nothing short of hellish, as he accurately mastered the upper limits of Harry's abilities, and was able to stop a split second before Harry's brain could no longer hold out, forcing him to go to great lengths to protect Dumbledore's will.

When Snape used Legilimency for the sixth time, Harry collapsed, his eyes empty, and sat in his chair for a long time, unable to regain his composure.

Snape glanced at the darkening sky and decided that Harry had reached his limit, so he waved him off. "That's all for today's practice. You can go now!"

Harry was so happy to hear this that his dazed mind was shaken, and his body seemed to regain its strength.

"When you get back, keep practising how to empty your mind, and don't expect me to go easy on you tomorrow!" Snape added.

Harry opened his mouth, wanting to ask Snape for a few more days, something he would not want to experience for a month.

Due to his pride, Harry did not say a word until he reached the door.

"My wand, Professor?!" Harry said hesitantly to Snape.

"As punishment for provoking the professor, I am prepared to confiscate your wand for two days…" Snape began casually, and then continued before Harry could retort.

"I don't think you'll need it on your day off! Or if you behave more humanely tomorrow, I might consider returning it to you!"

Harry scowled at Snape with fire in his eyes, but he was too weak to shout abuse after being "tortured" for over an hour, so he slammed the door and left.

The fire in the fireplace flickered, and Snape was left alone in his dark office for a long time in deep thought before he waved his wand to lock the door and placed his hand on the broken bell.

… .

Early the next morning, at the Gryffindor table in the Great Hall, Harry was fuming and complaining about the previous night in Snape's office.

"What? He confiscated your wand? How dare Snape?" Ron was furious when Harry told him what he had been through in the office.

"Let's go find Professor Dumbledore!" Hermione threw down her knife and fork angrily and tried to get up.

However, as soon as he finished speaking, Hermione was reminded that Professor Dumbledore had died more than two months ago, and no one in the school could control Snape now.

Harry and Ron's spirits were low.

Ivan stayed out of the group's discussion, although he had a feeling something was up.

"Harry, did you say you disarmed Snape's wand in the Potions office last night?" Yvonne asked.

Harry nodded, fearful that Snape would find out about the Invisibility Cloak and attack him without thinking.

It was probably because the other party was so focused on searching his memories that he was able to hit his target without any resistance.

"That shouldn't be…" Ivan frowned, thinking to himself that he had warned Snape to be careful when teaching Harry in case of an accident like in the real world.

It was difficult for Ivan to determine whether this was an accident caused by Snape's underestimation of Harry's power, or whether it was an accident and not a coincidence.

Ivan had the sudden urge to grab Snape and question him.

However, he knew very well that Snape would most likely tell him if he asked, but the answer would be incomplete, even misleading…

For a spy as skilled as Snape, there was little he could do to get the truth out of him.

Ivan felt a headache coming on. For the first time in his life, he found Occlumency a troublesome spell. Without it, he would have been able to read Snape's mind through Legilimency.

While Ivan was lost in his thoughts, Harry told Ron and Hermione about the dreams he had seen, in which Snape was always there for him, so Harry suspected that Snape had betrayed Dumbledore's trust and joined Voldemort.

"Don't worry too much, Harry, maybe it's not as bad as you think…" Ivan said soothingly, thinking that the chances of Snape going over to Lord Voldemort's side were next to nil.

Because of Lily, Snape was probably the last person to want Harry in danger.

Not to mention that no one in the wizarding world today knew better than Snape how badly Voldemort had suffered, and that it was only a matter of time before he lost his life.
