Who Do You Think You Are? The Dark Lord? Or Dumbledore?

Rumble ~

A bolt of lightning split the sky, and soon it was raining cats and dogs…

Ivan cast a silent glance at the blond wizard standing in the rain among the ruins, sighed, and swiftly turned away…

The rain was relentless,

After leaving Doggett's mansion, Ivan searched for clues that Hermione had left behind, worried about their safety.

It wasn't until they reached a dilapidated house that the trail went cold…

"Odd… how did Hermione manage to bring Alicia and Doggett to this place to get out of the rain?"

Ivan couldn't help but be a little confused, and then he suddenly felt his body begin to change. It seemed that the Polyjuice Potion's duration had ended.

After all, he had only taken a sip.

Ivan pointed his wand at his clothes to dispel the effects of the Transfiguration Charm, then took off his Invisibility Cloak and hurried inside.

Pushing the door open, Ivan found the scene inside different from what he had imagined,

Alicia had somehow come to her senses and was talking to Hermione about something in the room.

The little witch, on the other hand, was red-faced and stammering. She was relieved to see Ivan and greeted him as if he were her saviour.

"Ivan! Finally!"

Alicia also turned her head,

Ivan shuddered. He still hadn't figured out how to explain what had happened.

He did not expect Alicia to wake up so soon.

However, it made sense. He did not go easy on Alicia when he knocked her out. It would be strange if he was still unconscious after the journey.

"Ivan Hals!" Alicia's face darkened as she stalked over to him and grabbed his cheek.

"You're getting very bold! Do you have any idea what you're doing? Stunning me with a Stunning Spell? Do you have a death wish? Do you remember how old you are? Who do you think you are? The Dark Lord? Dumbledore? You're quite capable, going against ten Dark Wizards all by yourself…"

Alicia was so angry that she was shaking, and she scolded Ivan for dozens of minutes, pinching Ivan's fair cheeks until they were red.

Ivan had never seen her so angry, and he noticed that her eyes were misty. He opened his mouth to explain, but before he could speak, she pulled him into her arms.

"Please… please! Don't scare Mommy anymore. If anything happens to you, I won't be able to live either…" Alicia hugged him tightly, the tears in her eyes falling onto Ivan's hair.

Yvonne froze, not knowing what to do, and then, after a moment's hesitation, threw her arms around Alicia and said apologetically, "I'm sorry… Mom, it won't happen again!"

The mother and son held each other for a long time before Alicia regained her senses. She wiped her tears and asked what had happened.

Hermione had told her a bit about it, but the little witch knew so little that only Ivan knew the whole picture.

Ivan had no intention of hiding the truth, so he started by telling her about the attack on the Dark Arts shop when he first got home.

"In the end, I used the Time-Turner to go back to the present and figure it all out…" Ivan began.

As she listened to Ivan recount the events of the past, Alicia's heart ached even more. She had not expected Ivan to return to the past from the future, and to go through these painful events alone.

As relaxed as Ivan sounded, she could only imagine how much effort he must have put into this…

Isiah blamed herself for this. She blamed herself for looking down on the outlaws.

She had thought that these people were just a bunch of loose sand. As long as she let them know that she was not a pushover but a ferocious tiger, they would back off.

However, he did not expect these outlaws to have the guts to come knocking on his door…

A dark look crossed Alicia's face, and she thought that perhaps she had not killed enough people and was not ruthless enough to deter them…

However, when Ivan told her that he had chosen to deal with the Dark Wizards alone in order to prevent her from repeating her fate of dying at their hands, she was angry.

She would rather have something happen to her than have Ivan risk his life for something so dangerous.

At the thought, Isiah's anger returned to Ivan's cheeks. "Where did you get the nerve to think you could beat them, when there were so many of them?"

"But Mom…I managed to beat them, didn't I?" Ivan's words were slurred.

"That just means you're lucky you didn't die!" said Alicia, releasing her grip on Ivan's cheek and giving him another nasty knock on the forehead.

Ivan looked at the furious Alicia and knew that she was worried about him, so he tried to comfort her.

"Actually, those Dark Wizards were all incredibly stupid. I didn't even have to do much to get rid of them…"

"Look! I'm not hurt at all!" Ivan patted his clothes, which were covered in dirt and blood.

Isiah didn't believe Ivan for a moment. She had heard from Hermione that the Dark Arts shop had been reduced to rubble during the battle.

Not to mention, over the past few months, she had crossed swords with some of the Dark Wizards, many of whom were quite fierce.

Thus, Isiah was furious with Ivan for knocking her out and then going after them alone. She wanted to berate Ivan further, but when she saw the exhaustion on his face, she felt sorry for him.

After summarising what he had done in the past, Ivan felt melancholy. He had not expected things to go this way…

In a way, he had really screwed himself over!

However, he did manage to steer things in the direction he expected them to go…

Ivan couldn't help but wonder what would have happened if he and Alicia hadn't been ambushed by the Dark Wizards when they returned to the Dark Arts shop.

Ivan would not underestimate the strength of those black-robed wizards just because they had destroyed the other party.

That was because he knew that the other party would come and set up traps to lure them away.

In a direct confrontation, Ivan knew he was no match for so many.

This was especially true of Adanne, the leader of the black-robed wizards. He was extremely strong and was able to withstand several of Ivan's Shadowless Blades. Ivan estimated that he would have a hard time dealing with him alone, let alone his nine Dark Wizards.

Even if he and Alicia joined forces and managed to use the advantage of the arena to wipe them out, they would have to pay a price… perhaps one of them would be seriously injured or even killed…
