Home and Knockturn Alley

"Ron, over here!"

In the crowd, Ivan saw someone waving at them. It was a middle-aged man with red hair and a portly appearance. Ivan saw him nod kindly at him.

Next to the red-haired middle-aged man was a slightly dumpy woman, who was angrily berating the brothers, George and Fred, with her hands on her hips.

Yvonne immediately understood that they must be Mr and Mrs Weasley, and that George and Fred had been reprimanded because they had been caught out about the incident with the History of Magic.

"My dad's calling me, so I'm going to head over first. If you're free, you can come over and play. I'll send you letters during the holidays," Ron said as he pushed his suitcase into the crowd.

Because it was so crowded, Ivan had no intention of going over to get to know her, and he didn't know if she would like him if she found out he was the Dark Wizard's son.

Harry was soon dragged away by his Dursley uncle, who did not even want to stay for a moment longer than was necessary.

Mr Granger, Hermione's father, was easy to get along with, and Ivan was polite enough to chat with him.

Most of the young wizards were picked up, and the crowd had thinned considerably. Ivan was trying to find his mother, Alicia, in the crowd when he suddenly became aware of a hand on his shoulder.

The wand in Ivan's sleeve was in his hand, but before he could do anything, it was in his hand.

The smell of lavender wafted up from behind Ivan, and he let his guard down, as he remembered his mother's perfume.

As expected, the next moment, Alicia's distinctive, deep voice sounded in his ear.

"I haven't seen you in a year. You look taller and cuter. Do you miss your mother these days?"

"Of course… I do!" Ivan lied helplessly.

He turned around and saw a beautiful witch behind him. She was wearing a dark green wizard's robe that seemed to have been carefully cut to retain its original vintage style and accentuate her figure. She looked extremely charming and did not seem to be in her thirties.

Yvonne was uncomfortable being so close to a beautiful, strange woman, even if she was her mother in name…

"You want to? Then why didn't you send even one letter back?" Alicia's smile faded, and she flicked Ivan's head with her index finger in annoyance.

Yvonne stammered as she tried to find an excuse. She glanced at the snow-white owl in the cage and had an idea.

"I sent it. For all I know, the macka found the wrong place along the way!"

"You know, I just bought it at the beginning of the school year, so I don't think Marka knows the way home…" Ivan quickly passed the blame to Marka, who stayed in her cage and looked at him innocently.

"Is that so?" said Alicia, smiling at him.

Ivan swallowed, feeling the air around him chill.

Alicia did not expose Ivan's lie, but looked at the owl in the cage and smiled.

"I happened to learn a new dish yesterday. It's called owl soup. Why don't we just eat it tonight?"

Owl soup?

Ivan's mouth twitched. 'You don't have to be so mean, do you?'

"But I heard Professor McGonagall say owls are a wizard's best friend, and no wizard would ever hurt an owl…" Ivan tried to calm her.

"Really? There's nothing against cooking owls at the Ministry of Magic…" said Alicia, taking Ivan by the wrist and pulling him out of the station.

Even if there were rules, would you listen to the Ministry?

Ivan thought about it helplessly, but did his best to put in a good word for Marka. In the end, he decided against it.

The reason was simple. Changing pets cost a lot of money…

The two of them continued on their way. Ivan had already changed out of his wizarding robes at the station, and was now wearing blue casual clothes that blended in well with the pedestrians and Muggles.

However, Alicia was the complete opposite. She had a unique aura, and her beautiful face, coupled with her strange wizard's robe, attracted the attention of pedestrians. However, she did not seem to care and simply walked ahead.

As they left the station, the number of pedestrians increased. When they reached Commercial Street, Ivan looked up and saw a small, dirty, shabby-looking pub that looked out of place in the ornate clothing shops and record shops.

This was indeed the case, as there seemed to be an invisible obstacle. Ivan saw a woman trying to move forward, but instead she made a huge detour, and he was unaware of it.

Is this the magic of banishing Muggles?

Ivan watched this magical display, half-expecting to find out how it worked, but this was clearly not the time.

At this point, Isiah leads him into the Leaky Cauldron,

As one of the most important intersections between the wizarding world and the real world, the Leaky Cauldron was a place where business was booming at all times. Tom, the landlord of the Leaky Cauldron, was chatting leisurely with a strange-looking old witch.

Below them, two witches and wizards sat at a side table and whispered to each other. A few of the freer drunks drank butterbeer and even whistled at Alicia, though none of them dared to come up to her.

"I'm going to use the Floo powder and the fireplace!" said Alicia in a hard tone, ignoring the drunks. Her face was grim and she was not as gentle as she had been in Ivan's presence.

This behaviour is unpleasant, but it does sometimes reduce a lot of unnecessary trouble…

"Of course, do as you please…" The owner of the pub was a good-natured man. When he received the money, he reminded them that the Floo Powder was in a box on the mantelpiece.

"You go first. Don't move when you get there. Remember, Knockturn Alley!" Alicia grabbed a handful of Floo powder and handed it to Ivan.

Yvonne wondered why he didn't just teleport her to his house, but then decided to use Floo Powder, which lit up the fireplace with fluorescent sparks.

"Turnover Alley!" Ivan said.

Dark blue flames rose, and Ivan felt a faint burning in his body, but it was not like a fire burning.

What followed was a series of spatial transference. Ivan felt as if his body had been sucked into a roller and was spinning rapidly, causing him to feel dizzy for a while. He could not even see the entire teleportation process with his eyes wide open.
