"Mauve," Mill's smiling face appeared in Mauve's line of sight.
"Mill," Mauve cried. "What are you doing here?"
"Well, Sire had to rush out earlier than normal and he asked me to come to get you."
Mauve frowned at Mill's response as she only just realized she was alone on the bed. She could barely remember him joining her. She wondered what was so important that he couldn't even wait for her to wake up.
"How was your rest?" Mill asked, peering down at Mauve.
Mauve closed her eyes briefly and opened them before she answered Mill's question. "It was fine, thank you," she said with a polite smile as she carefully moved to a sitting position. "How was yours, Mill?" The question was barely out of her lips when a yawn escaped.
"It was okay. Are you ready to get out of bed now or would you like to rest some more? I can always come to get you later."
