Alice very calmly accepted the fact that her box had been transformed into a part of the Homeloss and quickly put thoughts of the Frost Queen, Lei Nora, out of her mind—her level of openness left Duncan in the dust.
According to the doll lady herself, she was so calm because all of this was "beyond her personal concerns."
"After all, I live on this ship now and have no plans to leave, so it's no big deal that my box became a part of the Homeloss. The matter of the Frost Queen is even simpler—I don't even know her," Alice sat back down on her wooden box, a pleasant smile on her face, "I don't know if I am her or what kind of person she once was. Anyway, this is all half a century ago... Let history be history."
"It's good that you're at peace with it." Duncan just quietly looked at Alice's light purple eyes and, after a long while, he nodded slightly.
