The old gentleman walked into the antique shop, curiously sizing up the surroundings: the worn display windows, the cheap iron shelves, and the haphazardly placed "antiques" nearly perfectly reflected the shop's positioning:
Aside from the money that was real, there wasn't a single genuine item in the entire shop.
Even so, this well-dressed gentleman, who looked nothing like the ordinary citizen from the Lower City District, was still looking around with great interest, until Duncan's voice came from behind the counter and finally, he turned his gaze.
"That's an interesting saying," the old man smiled, "taking away the predestined item... Setting aside the item itself, the phrase is quite beautiful."
"Actually, destiny alone isn't enough, you also need money," Duncan replied with a smile, "fortunately, nothing here is expensive—are there any items you want?"
"Uh... I didn't come here to buy anything," the old man opened his mouth, "actually..."
